I think I have said it before, there are lessons to be learnt from industrialists that our domestic MSM discourse doesn’t capture.

Industrialists solve problems for a living, in India’s case our industrialists solve Indian problems for a living. there are stories to be told, which are not getting proper attention.

Imagine if chinese had choosen that mode of development instead of massive bullet train and metro network . We may criticize their heavy debt led infra development , but planet is less fckd than it should have . India going the same way with public transport and metro networks .

and on a side note, this is also a reason why i keep saying ESG ratings are not in India's interest.

say in 2022, will an aspiring businessman like him be allowed to prosper. i don't think so.

to get a high ESG rating,
-one has to talk woke,
-do woke,
-give money to woke causes,
-adopt woke hiring practices,
-adhere to whatever woke nonsense prevailing at that point in time,
-be part of the woke bandwagon.

ESG ratings are a western version of halal economics, where business people of a different point of view are discouraged and sidelined unless they go woke.

In the very early days Tvs group ran commuter buses to both rural and towns.

They had met with an recurring problem of buses getting punctured due to horseshoes fell off from the bull carts used by the locals. Those days repairing puncture were very expensive.

So tvs bought one bull cart/route with underslung heavy magnets and send it to their respective route before the light.

As expected his puncture problems are literally behind his rear view mirror.

Ahh yes, the mandatory collapse of dollar thread. Not going to happen until there is alternative, and currently there is none. Most countries are not going to trade in freaking yuan.

Most of Major countries have this Conglomerate kind of system. Russia has oligarchy, Korea has Chaebols, Similar system in Japan, in some form in China too (Tencent & Alibaba group).

India had Tata-Birla-Bajaj-Godrej during license raj and West has Conglomerates controlling most of the private sectors.

Dollar is here to stay and so is US economic and military power.

Only thing which is going to change is the return of Multi Polar world with new power centers.
