Army should consider using more fire power like close air support by gunships. Army should bomb their hideouts from air. Fcuk collateral damage, all are OGWs so there won't be any innocent lives lost. If terrorists can be neutralized within minutes through aerial bombardment then why extend it to 48 to 72 hours long just to appease peaceful quam of kashmiri. Appease first, beg next and then go for kill( request militant to surrender with sweet talk, get his family members to appeal him to surrender if none works goes for kill) will not work anymore . It is a sheer waste of valuable time and assets. It takes 9 months to turn a civilian in to a hardcore fighting machine. we cannot afford losing such fine killing machines to poverty stricken, rent a pig type terrorists.

Most of our well known SF folks like Maj Walia, Jashrotia etc were killed here and i recall the 2009 encounter where we lost 7-8 9-Para in one go ( must be the darkest day in Indian SF history)
