Yep its from that article. And last I checked a month back, the radar was there. What a coincident ...I just finished a 10 years old article on this site
I don't know If the radars are already deployed as of now the site seems to be under construction. There were two sites. What's the progress at the other site?
Can you share the coordinates of this site.
Manu Pubby once reported that two radars associated with the BMD program have been installed at a site close to Delhi.
And I had always wondered why doesn't Drdo ever post a pic of the Swordfish LRTR in a press release and in Techfocus, Drdo Annual reports and other brochures. I sometimes wonder whether this radar really exists.
Thank you. Can you provide the coordinates.I don't know If the radars are already deployed as of now the site seems to be under construction.
I found only this site, near Delhi.
Search, in Alwar District, Its North among the hills.Thank you. Can you provide the coordinates.
And this may be an air defense or other military installation. How can you be sure it's related to our BMD program?
Thank you sir.Search, in Alwar District, Its North among the hills.
1st see the location Sir, and then decide, also look what was going on in previous years, you will also know what was going on in that area and what is being constructed.Thank you sir.
If it's in Alwar district and there isn't any construction related activities going on in the area other than this, then it must be related to the BMD. So Phase 1 has already got the political go ahead and is under execution.
Found the place. It's between two ridge lines.1st see the location Sir, and then decide, also look what was going on in previous years, you will also know what was going on in that area and what is being constructed.
Phase I is "officially" given go ahead last year.
We have LRTR these used to be mobile, set up in few hours and read to be used. For that you dont need full permanent structure.I fervently wish the sites become operational by the end of this year. BMD phase 1 was meant to be operational by 2014 according to Dr Saraswat.
And Drdo provides us with a glimpse of the Swordfish tracking radar.
The Barak-8 Lrsam also has a secondary TBM defense role much like the PAC-3 MSE.
Sirji no offense....Discuss what ever you link, dont post location or detail pics, if you want to post it. Just post that perticular structure in picture, so that it will be difficult to search and detect.
Russian Voronezh-SM/DM EMW radars have 6500km range which is not possible for mobile ones.guys if you want to post pics, i suggest

This new structure is kickass 1500 kms radars. Just (like) russian systems, where entire building is radar.
Frame 1.43 onwards. Looks like we are also going with similar kid of radars.
Can we have a new thread where we can discuss pakistani facilities and chini too. Google maps+ news articles about new radar deployment , air defence , missiles etc. Or nuclear sites.Discuss what ever you link, dont post location or detail pics, if you want to post it. Now with google earth and wikimapia everything on earth is within few clicks away.
Speaking of that, yesterday i found PN communication center for sub and its bunker with inside details .
Google earth in amazing tech if you know what to search for.
Well i posted the info in whatsapp group, Raj47 sir, give us solid dressing down and said go look for China or Pak.Sirji no offense....
What our forum members post is already available in the internet.
Any int, even the lowest ones like ISI will have better info(may not be 100% accurate) than what's available in the web.
I agree that troop movements shouldn't be posted in the internet, but why limit on what's already available in the internet!?
Your thoughts please

Should be an interesting enemy analysis.
No, HQ-19 is HQ-19 which is a Chinese version of THAAD. In your own quote, it is clearly said the interceptor used in this test was DN-3 which is reported for mid-course only.Details about China's ABM program is sketchy and sparse. A lot isn't known about the various anti ballistic missile interceptors. The Chinese label the HQ-19 as a mid course interceptor much like the Boeing GMD GBI. But looking at the specs and the few pics available its more of an oversized Lockheed THAAD-ER and intercepts ballistic missiles in the late mid course and upper terminal phase. Whether this system is operationally deployed isn't known.
