New Triumph Speed and Scrambler 400 launched in UK (July 5 India launch). Developed and manufactured by Bajaj and will also be exported. Similar partnership also happening between Hero and Harley. A great boost for make in India.

Bikes are dead gorgeous however they will be costlier than Classic 350. Will easily go above 3.5lac on road.

After Triumph, now Harley Davidson is launching their X440 in partnership with Hero Motocorp. Price starting at 2.29 lakh

Both have released really smashing products but out of these two I prefer Triumph one!

350-500cc has become interesting now in India. Lots of diverse products.

RE is now working on new 750cc engine platform.

Signs of our purchasing power increasing.
It's not hard to spot kawasaki 300+ series here in Patna a well.
People in general moving from basic 100cc platform to more powerful motors. Earlier bikes were strictly for commuter purpose, now people want to travel around more so they need bikes which can go further and carry more weight.
Similarly for Cars also, the avg purchase price has increased a lot over last decade. Instead of entry level 1000cc Alto, people are preferring 1.1/1.2 ltr WagonR, i10, Ignis, etc.

Forget about motorcycles Mahindra sold 1 lakh units of XUV700 and Scorpio N, two SUVs which cost 20-30 lakh within 1 hour. Even when Tata opened bookings of Tiago EV they sold 10,000 units within 1 hour, infact they would have sold more but they limited to 10,000 units per slot.

Even rural and semi-urban population is moving towards higher prices vehicles.

I am waiting for Triumph to announce the Scrambler 400 X price next month. Looks to be a real deal in that segment.

Well TBHP is hating on it but I found its design better than Creata/Seltos.
For me, Seltos>Elevate>>Creta in terms of design. But the problem with Honda has less features compared to Koreans and a less powerful engine compared to Germans and Koreans.

Elevate has better price/feature distribution than Creta it seems.

How can one like Seltos? Its design is too much busy and safety is worse than even Creta with which it shares the platform.

Does Honda have any tie up with local Parts manufacturers? I don't see this lineup taking of otherwise.
There are several small workshops in Mancheswar that supply to Maruti and the same ones produce Genuine Maruti parts, that is the secrete of their high serviceability.
