Actually we are at an advantage here. The Pakis themselves say that their hands are tied as they cannot be seen to be killing their 'Kashmiri brethren' by artillery fire across the LoC! Lol!

They fire in those regions where most people are Hindu or Shia Muslims such as Jammu and others. This is what they have done for ever.

I think we miss the wood for trees. Pakis are a deadbeat economic nation. I mean which investor will invest in a country where even if he makes a comment against islam, he will be executed on spot. Look at the plight of the German CEO of PIA. The poor chap is on exit control list. Most muslim states have absolutely no brainpower but lot of manpower. The real threat was is and will always be China. China has the brains, the brawn and the means to devastate India and US and become a premier economic and military power. The only country that can discipline them is Russia but Russia is in their pocket for now. We need strong counter insurgency capability for Pakis but military buildup must focus on Chinese.

China is a threat, but as @prasadr14 rightly pointed out, the Chinese threat is both direct and indirect- the latter via Pakistan. It's not just the godless Chinese that are a threat alone, but the sanctimonious Abrahamics in the west are equally if not a greater threat.

Pakistan is a convenient conduit and while they are deadbeat, they still pose challenges, especially as a propped up proxy.

When we take on Pakistan, we are taking on China, US, UK and KSA as well.

We should be worried and focus our energies on beating them in technological, economic and military race rather than focus on Gau raksha.

One correction, Jews were equally brutal when they were dominant in that region. This is pre-Islam and pre-Christian periods.

Ladakh scout is not deployed along LOC. Please read ur facts before stating. As for firepower, all your forward posts are manned by Mujahid battalion which is a backup force and not a frontline force unlike ours where regular army is deployed along LOC. Mujahid Battalion suffered maximum casualties in Keran when we butchered 40 of them in one go but you showed them as civilian casualties since they are auxiliaries.

And so were nearly all the SSG and Napaaki fauj who became pest-e-shaheed in the Lal Masjid operation in 2007 and so were NLI who were wiped out in Kargil in 1999.

It only goes onto show that Bakis are happy to use Shias as cannon fodder against India, against Taliban and at the same time carry out worst forms of ethnic genocide against Shias in Hazra, Parchinar and Punjab and elsewhere.

There is a huge difference in China attacking India and other nations in South China sea.
Attacking India by China is not just attacking India, especially considering India is not really doing anything to sabotage China. The cost China will have to pay for the attack, economically & socially will be something it can never pay...

That is the single reason why Pakistan is China's proxy against India...

For all the bluster, the 50 Billion trade deficit China enjoys with India is not something it would want to loose for pidly border issues. Imagine China attacks and the narrative does not go it's way. Would China escalate? Is it ready to face the costs, especially since India can do some serious damage on it's own.
China appears to be tough and bit a wacky but Chinese are well prepared and don't make insane moves just like that.

We should do this to them once every month. That's ~100 killed in a year from small artillery alone.
