Originally news sources were claiming MS... Then it turned out not so.

It's to be built in house. MS as a platform is far too different & will need another whole new ToT deal as well as assembly line modifications.

Stryker is not the answer to IA’s problem. Best to stay away from it as it has too many issues. From tires to sensors.
There is no solid reason for it to be considered.

My biggest concern is BMP-2 they are absolute death traps and have performed very badly in most conflicts.

Easily penetrable and offer low protection. Any kind of atgm will just rip them apart.

It would be better if they stay away from the front lines.

Most of them are obsolete with outdated FCS and no night vision the army is only now trying to procure these upgrades.

BC all of it is normal! it takes at least 50 years after independence for the country to get its shit together. Only the pet dogs of the criminal turned politicians were prompted higher up in both forces & burocracy (for obvious reasons)... So now we have so many DALALs among veterans everywhere.

Situation has & will continue to improve in coming decades.

Article also says that current local content is 40% not 90-100% as you said and will rise to 80% from onwards.

For 7 mn dollar they are costlier than korean K2 MBT if we account for capability and systems.

While Porks are getting 176/300 around for a billion dollars with APS .
