We are seeing increasing usage of BMP-2 in Kashmir at urban areas, Its high time IA should apply some sort of urban protection suit to some of the BMP-2 which are meant for these tasks.

Do we have armoured version of light vehicles like Gypsies??? A bullet proof , equipped with Machine guns and grenade launchers. I have posted a lot of pictures of armored gypsy in last page, they are under mass usage by J&K police.

Most of the Gypsies & Rakshaks of Army, CRPF & JKP are bullet proof from all sides. They usually mount LMG/MMG on top of it. Never seen any with Grenade Launchers tho. But there are few with the teargas shell launchers in service with JKP/CRPF.
