Sri Lanka is borrowing money to pay off its debt.

They are borrowing from Bangladesh too if the Wion story is true.

This won't end well for Sri Lanka besides posing a new headache for us.

They’re not borrowing they’re begging from Bangladesh, it’s a “currency swap”, we also did a currency swap worth 75 billion dollars with Japan but that was for our currency stabilisation, it is an existential crisis on them.
