They're not running away. They're hoarding it in trunks. Yesterday, there was no dollar in the open market and those who had dollars, they were selling it at 150-155. SBP can't release dollars in the market to manage the exchange rate so there's a scarcity.
Also, there is something special about to happen there after Ramzan.
