India : ~ 7%
Pakistan : ~2-3%

Inflation rates :
India :~2-3%
Pakistan : ~7%

You don't need to be an economist to figure out the relative trajectories of the two economies.

This stopping of trade is not voluntary. There was systematic targeting of Muslim shops which keep Pakistani goods so they stopped importing. Some other foreign power might be involved in the systematic targeting, but why take credit unnecessarily. Some misguided youth must have done it.

The trade wasn't stopped out any concerns for humanity; it's just that the Muslim traders (importers of Paki goods) are all on the run OR in hiding OR just playing safe by staying away from their businesses.
