India does not need F-22. India needs aircrafts like Mirage 2000 and Rafale in large numbers. Even Mig-29 will do.
I think India should buy all of Japan F-15. This will give enough capability to wreck entire PAF. Su-30 will be free to handle East.

India can buy either Su-57 or F-35 later when need arises.

Current need is to increase fighter strength.
I think that now Su 30 has become old and it is becoming outdated very fast. We need Tejas Mk2 as fast as possible along with Rafale. Now we should make tejas Mk1 followed by Tejas Mk1+ till Tejas Mk2 arrives. We should buy few more rafales. Sukhois are too costly to operate. India is unlikely to air attack any nation far away so no more MKIs are required. Rafales are very good for any role. tejas Mk2 shall be our trump card for many more years to come.

After Pulwama, terrorists plotting ‘motorcycle bomber attack’ to target security forces: Intel report
New Delhi: After the deadly Pulwama attack that killed 40 CRPF jawans, Pakistan-based terrorists are reportedly planning a new ‘suicide plot’ which could involve several ‘motorcycle bombers’, as per an intelligence agency’s report. Supposedly, the decision to use motorcycles to execute the sinister plan was taken as security forces’ in the country have become more suspicious of cars post the Pulwama attack, the report stated.

take it easy. just look around. Pakistan,China, Nepal, (bhutan), Bdesh, Myanmar, sLanka.
we can/must say old and outdated to mig21. Su30 will remain relevant for couple of decades. They just need timely upgrades.

Dhoom 4 - there will be constraints on the amount of explosives, and hence the level of impact... but maybe ISI wants casualties to be under control... so as not to provoke a military reaction from India...

Now that India will deploy S-400, will US sell any stealth fighter to India... looks unlikely after seeing what's happening with turkey... or maybe Uncle will attach a condition like not integrating S-400 to IACCS (which would degrade the S-400's usefulness) AMCA is our hope...

And this has always been our greatest mistake. Hafiz Saeed & Masood Azhar are not the problem. The problem is GHQ, Rawalpindi. Pak Army is the fountainhead of terror. In limiting our attacks to only terrorists, we have been solving the wrong problem.

Su30 has four hour endurance. Means one unit is equal to two mig29 for CAP mission. Its radar can see deep almost like an AWACS. Su30 is a multirole platform. Fuel cost is only one aspect. Overall operating cost has many factors.

Tejas is not a replacement for Su30.

We cannot get Tejas fast enough. May be 16 per year. Not fast enough to fill squadrons.

Pakistan Army's one-day spending of Rs. 1.35 billion is equivalent to Pakistan's one-year Education budget

ISLAMABAD: Pakistan spends Rs1.35 billion per day over the three armed forces just under the head of salaries and operatingexpenses only, Rs8.60 million daily on the president and prime minister, Rs7.8 million per day on the Senate and National Assembly but a paltry amount of three lakh rupees per day to take care of human rights, show the budget documents.

It further discloses that the Army’s one-day spending is equivalent to the running year’s total allocation for education ministry, and the air-force’s per day expenditures far exceed what was allocated to the health ministry for running the financial year ending this month.

I don't agree with this narrative. Though we know Pak army GHQ ISI harvest terrorists we can't hit the soldiers and say we took out terrorist which Pak army will bring the notice of world community. This will be loss in diplomacy for India. India eliminating terrorists at launch pads and in POK does have Pak army casualties and the way they hide their army casualties it's advantage India to hit them and pretend hit only terrorists which they deny at peril. If we attack military installations then it will be escalated to full fledge war.

AFAIK, F-35 is still an unstable platform. Experimenting with such platforms is not somethig India needs. We need cost effective, battle proven platforms. If we indeed get F-35, it won't be in any considerable numbers in the first place.

Right now, for India, S-400>> F-35 by a large margin.

Pakistani cement exporters in plea over South African anti-dumping duty
Pakistan: Cement exporters based in Pakistan have urged the Ministry of Commerce to approach South African authorities with the aim of overturning the existing anti-dumping duty on Pakistani cement.
"Before anti-dumping duty, annual cement exports to South Africa were worth US$700m. Now it has gone down to US$100m,

I do not want to look at China or Pakistan. Sukhoi 30 does not have AESA nor a long range AAM like Meteor. What shall we do without those capabilities? New fighters have Low RCS , top class AESA, IFRTSS , Top class EW and long range BVR with at least 120 km of range. What does Su 30 have out of It? Perhaps EW and nothing else. We urgently need to upgrade MKIs the stuff I mentioned.
