International Monetary Fund asks Pakistan to share details of loans from China
Islamabad has been seeking commercial loans of $2 billion from Beijing.

China has already refused to provide a balance of payment (BoP) support to Pakistan.

https://www.wionews.com/south-asia/...n-to-share-details-of-loans-from-china-210220
I remember somebody in this forum saying " we have got special friends, we we are in need of money we just ask them, the very next moment they pay us and its not begging..." My questions to him are....
1.Then why do you seek commercial loans of $2 billion from Beijing?
2.Even after having all these Special friends, why there is still a balance of payments issue?
3.Why IMF still asks for details of loans from China, even after Pakistan's brokering between taliban and uncle SAM?

Why is China constructing new Gulags in Tibet?

-Filed by UN, EU and Human Rights Desk, DIIR, CTA

An alarming report recently published in The Print, revealed at least three new gulags under construction in Tibet through satellite imagery. The term gulag is generally used to refer to the Soviet-era forced labor camps which China calls “Re-education Through Labour” (RTL) also known as laojiao.

The RTL camps were initially intended to purge the counter-revolutionaries, landlords and rightists opposing the newly installed Communist Party government. But with changing times, RTL camps became pivotal in crushing all forms of dissent by detaining and torturing people involved or suspected to be involved in exercising their legal rights like expressing opinions, holding peaceful protests etc. The Chinese Ministry of Public Security exercised sweeping power in deciding who should be sent to RTL camps and for how long, without any due process or judicial review. Often people ended up spending more than 20 years in RTL camps.

Innumerable Tibetan monks, nuns and laypersons opposing the human rights violations have been sentenced to RTL camps and tortured since 1955 even before official acknowledgment by China on the existence of RTL camps. By 2012, there were 250,000 officially recorded detainees in 350 RTL camps throughout China.

After huge international outcry over the human rights abuses carried out in RTL camps and calls for abolishment of RTL facilities, the Standing Committee for National People’s Congress officially abolished RTL facilities as per the commitment of Chinese Communist Party in third plenum decision in 2013. But this has been a mere cosmetic change to the system.

The gulags or “Re-education Through Labour” facilities have continued to function under different names as predicted by the Tibetan Centre for Human Rights and Democracy (TCHRD) in its special report titled “Gulags of Tibet” published in 2014.

The recent reports of new gulags being constructed in Tibet is alarming specially in the wake of the revelation of RTL camps, which China now calls ‘vocational centres’, in Xinjiang. “The existence of ‘Re-education Through Labour’ camps or gulags in Tibet has been long reported. It is no surprise that this system was introduced in East Turkestan (Ch: Xinjiang) by the same Communist Party Secretary, Chen Quanguo who perfected this system in Tibet when he was Party Secretary to the so-called ‘Tibetan Autonomous Region’. What is alarming in this report is that monasteries are now being converted into gulags and new gulag monasteries are being constructed solely targeting the Buddhist nuns and monks of Tibet. How can China now claim to be the “land of Buddhism” when they intend to eliminate the preachers and practitioners?” remarked Sonam Dagpo, Spokesperson of Central Tibetan Administration and Secretary of Department of Information and International Relations, CTA

The satellite imageries were analysed by Col. Vinayak Bhat (Retd.) who has worked as satellite imagery analyst for more than two decades in the Indian Army. During his presentation at Tibet Policy Institute, he remarked, “These are gulags not ‘vocational centers’ or ‘re-education camps’, constructed with the sole purpose of indoctrinating Tibetan monks and nuns and laypersons. These are being constructed in remote isolated areas with modern Chinese architectural influence and 5.5 metres thick high walls. The level of security at these places are similar to that of nuclear sites.”

Dukthen Kyi heading the UN, EU and Human Rights Desk, DIIR, CTA, was concerned by the report and remarked, “the question remains why is China constructing such high-tech high-security gulags in Tibet. Should we be bracing up for further clamping down of Tibet specially with this year being the 60th anniversary of Tibetan Uprising Day!”

Pakistan Air Force flying Rafales report originated in jihadi website

Reports of Pakistan Air Force pilots being trained to fly the latest Rafale fighters for Qatar's Amiri Air Force may have been highly exaggerated. In a February 13 report about the handover of the first Rafale to Qatar, the independent media company Aviation International News had mentioned in passing: "The first batch of pilots trained for Qatar in November 2017 were Pakistani exchange officers."

Various Indian media outlets and commentators had latched on to the above sentence and claimed the Rafale's secrecy had been compromised and that the Pakistanis would now be able to devise strategies to tackle the aircraft when the Indian Air Force inducts it later this year.

However, the French embassy in New Delhi quickly denied Pakistani pilots were trained to fly the Rafale aircraft for the Amiri Air Force. Referring to the AIN story, Ambassador Alexandre Ziegler said: "I can confirm that it is fake news."

On February 6, AIN's freelance reporter Jon Lake had covered the news when Qatar got delivery of its first Rafale fighter jet in a grand ceremony attended by the Qatari Deputy Prime Minister among other senior officials. The Gulf country has signed a euro 6.3 billion agreement for the supply of 24 fighters.

In order to get to the bottom of the story, I emailed AIN Executive Editor Marks Phelps about the veracity of Lake's report, considering the French envoy had described it as "fake news". Phelps replied: "I've been in touch with our Defence Editor, and he told me he's removed the reference to Pakistan from the story, but provided this link to a report."

The link provided by Phelps takes you to a website named WAFF - World Armed Forces Forum. Owned by Mike M, it describes itself as a "free speech forum which is now among the most popular on the internet". It claims to have "thousands of members from 140 countries".

After my email, AIN removed the reference to the Pakistani air force officers from its story, indicating that it no longer trusts the authenticity of the source.

Phelps also provided a link to an Arabic language website Youm7 (Seventh Day) from where WAFF had obtained the original information about Pakistani air force officers being trained in Paris to fly Rafales. This Egyptian website seems to be the original cause of the kerfuffle.

The Seventh Day report, dated November 27, 2016, says "according to media reports" the Qatari government did not send Qatari pilots to train on the Rafale aircraft, but instead Pakistani two pilots were sent to Paris.

According to Seventh Day, it is "aimed at the readership of the elite of Egypt" and produces "news and information with absolute credibility, depth of analysis, transparency in information". For all its bombast, it does not name the media it is citing from.

I also contacted Lake on Twitter: "Regarding your report in AIN Online about Pakistani military officers trained to fly Amiri Air Force Rafales, the French ambassador to India says it's fake news. Any comments?"

Lake responded: "I merely repeated the report on the Arabic language news website Seventh Day (Youm7) which was reposted on WAFF."

Since Lake runs a website named Arabian Aerospace, he would have been scanning all sorts of websites in the Middle East, especially those related to defence and aerospace.

London's The Guardian describes the Seventh Day as "one of Egypt's most modern news organisations" and its Editor in Chief Khaled Salah as "an unlikely jihadist". Writing about his experiences on his website the Egyptian says he "fell for the bait of extremist thoughts... I was ready to be martyred for God's Sharia".

Salah has gone to prison several times for plotting the overthrow of President Hosni Mubarak "in order to free the Egyptian army to join the struggle to retake Jerusalem for Islam".

An email has been sent to Cairo-based Seventh Day and a reply from Salah is awaited.

Well!! We know a few assholes here
Few? There are a dime a dozen. They were behind the scenes earlier buy are now crawling out of the woodwork as it has become fashionable to celebrate success as failure. One bitch comes to mind and that is Arundhati Roy who has bashed all and sundry particularly the RSS and BJP for all that's going wrong in this country according to her!

She eulogies the Left, the Cong, pseudo seculars, and the corrupt Lutyens brigade as the only saviours of the country. Watch this ass on moron Kapil Sibal's TV channel which is funded by the ill gotten wealth of the Cong retards.

First of all there is no definite open acknowledgment from army side that this "OH MY GOD" gun has came.
Why here people are jumping on SP publication article?
I was told by seniors here not to jump the guns similarly I want to say the same to you all.
Must be some atgm or some other gun one don't need big gun shell to destroy "trucks".
