This is war time. Terrorists activities this time is clearly aimed at helping Pakistan. So no mercy.
Nope this is not war time... it is an insurgency... world as such has not been able to arrive at consensus on rules on the game of insurgency... and in the mean while pakis are getting away with it...

Cryptic tweet from BABAINT

Few new machines are going to participate in the race.... My non vegetarian friends will enjoy holi with meat of Markhor. It is very tasty. I tasted it when I was not Sanyasi. खून से खेलेंगे होली,गर वतन मुश्किल में है।

Markhor is ISI symbol

Most of the Twitter handles who call themselves intel analyst are all turned out to be paki handles with some fancy western name to push their narrative ..like that Jaffrey type
yup, i find that this @IntelCrab and @TheWarMonitor are acting as level 2 for disseminating paki version of story, level 1 being paki @Natsecjeff. 99% of their tweets are based on paki sources, on india related matters.

True.. only stealth ucavs would be useful in contested airspaces... Are we getting avenger/predator-c drones ?
I don't think there is much incentive for India in procuring UCAVs. Our liberals and leftists will immolate themselves at Jantar Mantar if we use it against Maoist or "innocent youths" with whom we should do dialogue. Porks are capable of shooting UCAVs.

India right now needs surveillance or harop kind of drones only. We are pellet firing quam, don't think our press and peaceniks will allow such toys outside of Hangar, not to mention malicious rumors of Hindoo fizzelya hitting schools or hospitals in Kashmir.

Another terror attack on India will be 'extremely problematic': US to Pak
March 21, 2019
The United States has warned Pakistan that another terror attack on India will prove to be "extremely problematic" as it asked Islamabad to take more "concrete and sustained" actions to rein in terror groups including the Jaish-e-Mohammed and the Lashkar-e-Tayiba.

Tensions between India and Pakistan escalated after a suicide bomber of Pakistan-based terror group Jaish-e-Mohammed killed 40 Central Reserve Police Force personnel in Jammu and Kashmir's Pulwama district in February 14.

India launched a counter-terror operation in Balakot. The next day, Pakistan Air Force retaliated and downed a MiG-21 in an aerial combat and captured its pilot, who was handed over to India on March 1.

Addressing reporters at the White House on Wednesday, a senior administration official said: "We need to see Pakistan taking concrete and sustained action to rein in the terrorist groups, mainly the Jaish-e-Mohammed and the Lashkar-e-Tayiba in order to ensure that we don't have re-escalation (of tensions) in the region".

"If there's any additional terrorist attack without Pakistan having made a sustained, sincere effort against these groups, it would be extremely problematic for Pakistan and it would cause re-escalation of tensions, which is dangerous for both countries," he said on the condition of anonymity.

Asked about the steps being taken by Pakistan in the aftermath of the Balakot air strike by Indian fighter jets, the official said that the US and the international community needed to see "irreversible and sustained" actions against the terror groups.

"It's early to make a full assessment," he said.

In the recent days, the official said Pakistan has taken some "initial" actions. They have frozen the assets of some terrorist groups and made some arrests. They have taken administrative control of some of the JeM facilities, he said.

"But we clearly need to see more. We need to see irreversible action because in the past, what we've seen is they made some arrests and then a few months later, they released these individuals. The terrorist leaders are sometimes still allowed to travel around the country, hold rallies," the official said.

Reiterating that the US is looking for "irreversible action", he said America is working with its international partners to increase pressure on Pakistan.

"Because it has been too long that these groups have been able to operate," he said.

Observing that Pakistan has economic concerns as well, the official said the Financial Action Tasks Force is one area which demonstrates the need for them to take these actions against terror groups.

"Otherwise, they're at risk within the system and the FATF to be grey-listed," the official said.

Pakistan needs to decide if it wants to be viewed as a responsible international player and have access to all the financial mechanisms that are available or is it going to continue to fail to take the steps necessary against these terrorist groups and see itself further isolated. "The choice is Pakistan's," the senior administration official asserted.

While the situation between the two south Asian neighbours have de-escalated, the two armies are still on high alert and that concerns the US, the official said.

"So, we realize that if there, God forbid, would be another terrorist attack that you could quickly see the escalation in the situation once again. So that's why, we're making clear that any additional military action by either side runs an unacceptably high risk, for both countries and for the region," the official said.

The Trump administration, he said, has taken sort of a "zero tolerance policy" on the issue of safe havens to terrorists.

"The terror terrorist attack on February 14th on India was a demonstration that Pakistan's continuing provision of sanctuary for any terrorist group is not acceptable," the official said.

During the height of the crisis -- February 26-28 -- the US was in continuous contact with Indian and Pakistani officials, both on the ground in New Delhi and Islamabad.

"They were working on the phones continuously and were deeply engaged in seeking to deescalate what was a very dangerous moment in India-Pakistan relations," he said.

The United States has also reached out to influential countries to have them help deescalate the situation, the senior administration official said.

Some of these countries are China, Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Qatar, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Japan and Australia.

Why aren't NSG used in Kashmir?

On one hand Army SF complain that they're being used for ops where trained infantry is enough, now in hostage situations & building storming they're not used. Why the fuck do we have NSG then!!!

Baba is a genius....always comes true
And ofcourse we returned the favour & stopped too like good bois...

From a Pak OSINT.

India issued NOTAM (airspace closure) over two of its missile launch facilities and Pakistan in response issued NOTAM over Sonmiani missile launch range. Now Pakistan has battle deployed Shaheen-III MIRV missiles. Aggressive WMD posturing by two nuclear armed nations is worrying

ELINT suggests Karachi, Islamabad, Lahore, Bahawalpur, Quetta and Peshawar are being targeted. Pakistan has in response started running launch trajectory simulations on 20 major Indian cities as decided by the “3 for 1” missile response ratio strategy already decided by Pakistan

So I was right when i said 70 odd F16s and SAAB AWACS r serious threat to IAF last month. Many here called me Paki for saying this. We dont hav air to air missile comparable to AIM-120C . Hope Meteor missile solve this problem.
Serious question mark on russian air to air missiles. Unfortunately our inventory is full of Russian air to air missiles.
You do know that we neutralised all the AMRAAMs (4-5 by most acocunts) fired against us don't you?

Not to say they are not a threat, but a treat we are not unprepared for.

The Russian missile scored a direct hit.

Also do check out the A2A missiles on our Mirage fleet.
