There is a place called South Punjab in Porkland with its main city, Bahawalpur, being the terror capital of the world. South Punjab is so backwards that Burundi looks like a heaven. Pork Army majorly recruits from here among the most poor, lowest HDI humans in the world. There is never ending supply as all development indicators are going even backwards and Pork Army is the only source of employment. Creating a pro India local militia in South Punjab that systematically targets and eliminates as many LeT and other terror centers is the only way to rein them in. You will have to take the battle to them and not wait for the pigs to come to J&K to get slaughtered. You will need to put the fear of Popet in them right in their own homes. Also, US or Russia style private armies can be hired to take out large portions of Southern Punjab terrorists and training centers.
India must also work with the US to kick out retired generals of Pork Army settled in the western world. We should file war crimes cases against them and extradite to India to stand trial. Such actions would put the fear of dallah in Pork Army leadership. You have to take the battle to them and nit fight it in India.

Unfortunately India only reacts to pak’s moves. A very costly and fruitless strategic approach.

Pak’s low cost, high impact assymetrical warfare allows it the luxury of able to lose a million battles. Where we have to win every single one of them.

India needs to up the ante and raise costs.

Currently, we are haemorrhaging. Not very pleasant to say, but true.

Number one issue with democracy.

If modi ordered it, per say, the air striking of high value military bases, then he would get negative responses from opposition for being too “provocative”, or those same in the establishment would keep bringing the China boogeyman.

If India saw one party rule, otoh, than it would be able to do whatever it wanted without any opposition.

Burning girls schools, killing Hindus in Kashmir, then targetting Shias in Kashmir, targetting women for doing “haraam” behaviour, killing women for not wearing burqa, killing girls for going to school and announcing that they’ll impose Nizam-e-Mustafa when they come to power. To draw an analogy with wartime tactics, if you want to seize a particular piece of terrain and your main concern is the terrain (not the enemy), you leave routes of egress open for them and make sure they don't return or counter attack from the same routes. You don't corner an enemy looking for an escape. That's just asking for more bloodshed.
