Hopefully, I will still have one more river to cross.

One more river to cross
One more mountain to climb
One more day to survive
One more river to cross
One more dream to hold onto
To keep us alive
I've got just one more river to cross
It's always one more river to cross
Just as the darkness is falling

In China, senior people are most likely to get something like this for their birthdays.

And I am very curious about Ray's age.

It is beautiful painting nimo-cn. What does it say on both sides of the painting.

I have noticed the position of hand to be different by four officers. What is the right way of salute?
Panag (the Sikh Officer) is closest to a correct salute.

The Army's salute is given with the right hand palm facing forwards with the fingers almost touching the beret badge and middle finger above and in line with the middle of the right eye. The upper limb of the right hand should be parallel to the ground.

Senior officers tend to be individualists in saluting, but that is not correct.

PS The Sikh Officer's cannot be anywhere near their pugree badge since the badge is parked way above.

Thank you Nimo.

Beautiful paintings.

I like Chinese paintings and I have done two of them for my Mother when she was alive, who was an Orientalist.

As far as my age goes, let us say I look forward to hit the 100s before the light fades out.

Looking at the post of nimo_cn, I am not sure that I am finding the painting more beautiful. :D
