HAL delivers Crew Module for Human Spaceflight Program to ISRO

BANGALORE: Defence major Hindustan Aeronautics Limited today said it has handed over the first " Crew Module Structural Assembly" for the "Human Spaceflight Program" to Indian Space Research Organisation.

HAL handed over the Crew Module to ISRO's Vikram Sarabhai Space Centre (VSSC), Thiruvananthapuram, in Bangalore, recently, the company said in a release.

Doesn't look that big, It may carry only one vyomonaut. Anyway hope the test of GSLV mk3 proves successful, it'd be carrying this crew module to test the heat shields during reentry phase.
