It is like wishing Indians "Happy Ganesh Chaturthi" and then saying may Ganesha bless lower castes of India.

Though a trifle off topic, but Ganesh Chaturthi is celebrated with greater gusto in Maharastra than elsewhere.

To be factually correct, the majority of the lower castes of Maharastra (having spent about 35 years with them) are Neo Buddhists and so it is not material to them, except to have a jolly.

Notwithstanding, the issue of being sensitive on religious issues and not provoke unnecessarily is very valid for the smooth functioning of this forum.
