ak-47 rifle mounted on drone hehe though i think recoil is a bit too much to get accurate shots at 400-500m maybe they could try with insas with the smaller rounds

Chinese convo with ex-DG artillery
dont know but ive seen it many times that people are excessively aggressive to ex servicemen especially the vets of higher ranking while its true that we can see the problems and all of the army there is a limitation which applies to all of us
which is that we can say for sure why army rejected or delayed an instrument's aquisition there could be many reason
priority , availability , need , low capex of army , not needed asap , can be ordered some time later , preference of troops ,QUALITY and cost of equipment and the biggest CORRUPTION while all are thought of normally people are very quick in jumping the gun to corruption which could be present too but thing is we dont know either of it and forming the opinion on the basis of nothing is bad imo

Lt Gen Shankar is also one of the top gen (retired) in the army and he might as well have a lot of experience and knowledge out of which he couldnt even tell 1% to us due to confidential reasons so personally i give him a benefit of doubt to be correct here rather than supporting a normal twitter guys posting stuff baring in mind that some generals are to be money minded and corrupt too

and even though we didn't induct a lot of guns we made a supreme ammo supply who's result would be self sufficiency in ammo till 2026-27 and we earn loads of forex from supplying ammo to other countries too now since the ammo is taken care of next would be upliftment of guns which could be done in the coming years too hopefully we get the tgs and k9 repeate order signed this or at max next year

If credit is given to one deserved then even the -ve has to be considered too
I am not specially targeting lt gen Shankar knowing wonderful work he has done but failure of artillery mordernization lies on everyone involved in the matter
Consistent goalpost shifting then trails then urge of imports have affected our capabilities
And it's not like things will improve in future
Things which osints and few def insiders know is not inspiring at all
U will see in future coz it's not right to speak much about it
