I have been trying to compare the two based on holistic abilities, but maybe due to my lack of understanding of pure technical terms, is unable to make much sense of it.
One thing I understood is that the AESA radar in the Falcon AWACS provides 360° coverage whereas the DRDO AEW&C has 240° coverage.
the smaller and weaker DRDO AEW&C, is it a slave to the Falcon where it acts as a kind of range extender to the Falcon? Or is it a stand alone system with enough capability to provide comm and datalinks independently to fighter squadrons?
