Hmm....come to think of it, this is more of a banner than a logo.

Alright got something. They say that designs should always be simple, yet effective. So how's this?

Personally, I am not a big fan of taglines when they aren't needed. So cheesy..

Anyways, I gave the logo a try (for a few mins)..





Not exactly a billion dollar logo but gets the point across.. I think.

More than all , my fave is a quote from Hortius by Lord Macaulay - For the ashes of his fathers, And the temples of his Gods, it is very inspiring and well defines the feelings of all soldiers.

Its also inscribed on the war memorial of the Kumaon regiment at Rezang La.

The full quote is -‘To every man upon this earth Death cometh soon or late.
And how can man die better than facing fearful odds,
For the ashes of his fathers, and the temples of his Gods ?'

Excellent quote. I think it deserves a place on the main page.

Tobe honest the first logo is okey BUT the color sucks, it doesnt match with the blue of the forum.

for the punch line.......how about our national motto of India- "Satyameva Jayathe or Truth alone Triumps"


How about conducting a competition for designing best logo for DFI. so that the administrators will get many ideas and inputs. then they can mix them all together and create a superb logo.

also try some nice modern typo,....personally I find that one ugly & effect are cheap

This one's the best according to me. If the globe can be turned towards Indian side, it would be awesome. For a moment reminded me of Chelsea logo, don't know why
