Both the articles talk about TATA preparing to develop FICV, but EoI has talked about for a longtime.

Is it just me or does that turret on the TATA Wheeled FICV model look similar to the Rheinmetall Lance turret with the Rheinmetall MK30-2 cannon (+ spike launchers thrown in)

This is the Large Area Display system by Elbit, most likely to make it to the cockpit of future HAL products. The Elbit LAD has been selected by Boeing for Super hornet bid for Brazil and Silent Eagle bid to South Korea. If Boeing wins either of the competition, the LAD would be flight tested by 2014 and aircrafts equipped with LAD would be delivered from 2015 onwards.

Okie Big scoop from DEFEXPO, TATA has developed a new mounted artillery system with DENEL( no less) it's basically the DENEL T6 CONDOR gun that was originally developed for the IA before DENEL was banned, it is now mounted on the TATA 8X8 . also they are in the running to sell it to Indonesia with TATA supplyiing much of the electronics and targeting systems and the main Carrier vehicle before final integration in south Africa.

Also the BHIM will be back soon in the form of the Zuzana gun mounted on the ARJUN MK 2 turret i got this from a PRO of DRDO no less( it helps to be insanely nosy). Arty is looking good folks.

It's official NEXTER plans to integrate the Ceasar onto an Indian platform either the TATA 8X8 or the Ashok leyland 8x8 or even the BEML TATRAS if they win the mounted arty contract as part of their offsets.

The BUSK is only addon armor no internal improvements to speak of, however the add on composite and slats only weigh 1.6 tonnes so the vehicle operations are not compromised too much!
