Nothing is wrong with Britain today vis-a-vis Scotland that wasn't a problem in 1298.
One must visit British history to see the conflicts.

May have a look at the Third English Civil War (1649–1651) which was to become a war of England against Scotland.

Recently in an exclusive interview with TOI, Britain's deputy prime minister Nick Clegg said Britain does not want to be a mediator between India and Pakistan over Kashmir.

He told TOI, "Kashmir can only be resolved by the two neighbours — India and Pakistan through dialogue. UK does not intend to be a mediator between the two countries".

Clegg added, "The British parliament is a sovereign institution and is free to debate on any issue it likes. II definitely don't curtain the right to debate. But as far as the government's position on Kashmir is, it remains the same. This is a long-running conflict, and we stand by to help; but ultimately it can be resolved only by the two countries in question".
Such a wishy washy statement from the leader of the liberal democrats. Being wishy washy is one of the two reasons that I detest liberal democrats, the other that they pander to extremist lobby groups, aka Islamists who they think are deprived and need help and support.

A real British politicician with real guts would point out that by British law the whole of Kashmir is legally part of India. This is because the law and framework for indepence and separation, including the Instruments of Ascension, was passed as law in the British Parliament. Therefore there can be no further debate in the British Parliament challenging the sovereignty of India over the WHOLE. of Kashmir.

There should be a debate in the Lok Sabha on the sovereignty of the Falkland Islands, and whether the sinking of the General Belgrano should be classed as a war crime. Ideally this should be held on the same day as the House of Commons debate on Kasmir. That should send a message strong enough so that Cameron and Clegg hear it loud and clear and understand the impact on their push for more trade with India.

I would like to see the re-enactments of English Civil War battles held in England.

WTF?
Ukistan the newfound brother of Pakistan. Pushing false propaganda for Pakistan from the front, Ukistan should be careful to stoop so low for Pakistan.
