When you are literally making a rocket company, it wouldn't hurt to name it a bit hip.

Its interesting to see how many of these private rocket companies will survive in the next couple of years. Despite its failed first launch, Landspace is obviously a serious rocket company by investors. I'm not sure about other companies' prospects. There are over 30 private rocket companies now. Some of them will be dead in a few years. Anyways, investing in rocket is better than investing in bike-sharing.1. LandSpace(蓝箭航天) http://landspace.com/
Its Chinese name is BlueArrow(蓝箭), Its English name has no meaning in Mandarin. "Landspace" probably means "land your dreams into space" in English.
2. I-Space(星际荣耀) http://www.i-space.com.cn/
Its Chinese name is InterstellarGlory(星际荣耀). The "I" stands for "Interstellar". So it has a proper meaning in English. It has nothing do with Iphone or Japanese space company Ispace.
3. OneSpace(零壹空间) http://www.onespacechina.com/
Its Chinese name is zero-one space(零壹空间). It is a metaphor meaning "from 0 to 1" or starting from scratch and making an achievement.
4. LinkSpace(翎客航天) https://linkspace.com.cn/
Its Chinese name literally means FeatherGuestSpace(翎客航天). It's a metaphor "send people into space".
5. DeepBlueAerospace(深蓝航天) http://www.dbaspace.com/
Its Chinese name is the same with its English name. no need to explain.
6. KyushuYunjian/JiuZhouYunJian(九州云箭) http://www.jzyjspace.com/
Its Chinese name has a deep meaning in Mandarin but difficult to translate. literally it means "Nine-Provinces-Cloud-Arrow". Why this name is deep? Well, nine provinces refers to the original nine provinces in ancient China four thousand years ago. At that time, China had only 9 provinces. Its becoming a metaphor. So "nine provinces" is synonymous with China in literary Mandarin. A more proper translation is ChinaCloudArrow. Why cloud arrow? Because in Chinese literary world, there's an expression called" Cloud Pricking Arrow"(穿云箭) meaning the arrow is powerful enough to penetrate into cloud. That's why it's difficult to give a good English translation.
7. GalacticEnergy(星河动力) http://www.galactic-energy.cn/
Its Chinese name is StarRiverPropulsion(星河动力). StarRiver means the MilkyWay in Mandarin.
8. SpaceTrek(星途探索) http://www.spacetrek.cn/
Its Chinese name is StarRoadExploration. Same with space trek in English.
9. S-Motor(灵动飞天) http://www.s-motor.cn/
Its Chinese name literally means "swiftly flying in space". "S" probably stands for "swiftly"
10.SpaceTransportation(凌空天行)http://www.spacetransportation.com.cn/
Its Chinese name literally means "Soar high and travel in space". It's an literary expression in Mandarin and untranslatable. Its English loses all the actual Mandarin meaning.
