in my own experience (not only on the internet but also in real life),endless requirement and no paying back is some typical behaviour of some people from some nation which is well know in China... they thought others own it to them naturally, and they thought they should get what they want without thier own hardwork and efforts but just hoping everything would drop into their hand . but when you ask for the same request from some member, what you got was normally just multiply words without single proof and sometimes they use the confidentiality as excuse or just talking about the shiny plan or prospect which not happend yet... ...that's another reason why some nation would go behind...

a simple but funny logic is :someone could made a harangue jumping to some conclusion without much study and background knoweldge , and then they ask other's to prove they were wrong with solid and abundant evidence....lips work could exchange real stuff....wow...it's really good business and most people from that nation should be great talkers in this world...

-----------------------------
about the CM400 topic ,I thought I have nothing to add at this moment...and what said in the interview has been listed in my post..this Project is just some' foreign trade' project. or more directly it's a project for money.

some related news...
the Redesigned left wing of Xiaolong 03 (JF17 PT03) passed the extra Static Payload test in May 2012 which means the new request from Pakistan AF to enhance heavy load ability of the wing's middle Mount Point has been achieved.

actually keep someone in illusion or ignorance might be better for others .which remind me the way that the ruling class how to deal with the lowe lives in some nation. I may take the lesson as well..

^^^ first part has no link with topic at hand, it appears that you want to say that we dont appreciate that you have made something on your own and we are trying hard to prove that it does not exists or trying to say that it is useless and in same breath you have said that, this is the reason we are not advance as you are. In plain and simple words this is what you want to say. Nothing relevant here, you have failed to say what the video is saying in English, also failed to show any test video or explain my post before your post.

Regarding second part of your post, first para without English translation of video, it is useless, you are merely want money for project for which PRC dont want to put their money on, that shows lot of the projects worth.

second para, it is again your complex brain fart, which you better understand.

CM-400AKG missile is China's new 'carrier killer': Russian media
26 November 2013
LINK: wantchinatimes.com/news-subclass-cnt.aspx?id=20131126000062&cid=1101

The CM-400AKG supersonic cruise missile designed by Aviation Industry Corporation of China — an export version of China's YJ-12 anti-ship missile — can be used successfully against India's aircraft carrier when launched by Pakistan's JF-17 Thunder fighter, reports the Moscow-based Russian Military Analysis website.

The CM-400AKG was demonstrated to the public for the first time during the Zhuhai airshow last year. The YJ-12 was originally designed to be used against multiple targets including US aircraft carriers with a combat range of 500 kilometers and can be carried by various platforms such as bombers like the H-6 and JH-7, fighter jets such as the J-11B, J-15, J-16 and Su-30MKK and Type 052D destroyers. However, the range of the CM-400AKG has been reduced to 250 kilometers to meet export restrictions of the international Missile Technology Control Regime.

The missile can be launched when the aircraft reaches speeds of between 750 and 800 kilometers an hour, the report said. The speed of the Chinese supersonic cruise missile is between mach 3.5 to mach 4. It can be equipped with high-explosive and armor-piercing warheads. Insiders said that the missile was designed for the FC-1 Xiaolong also known as JF-17 Thunder, a fighter jointly developed by China and Pakistan.

The Indian navy currently has two aircraft carriers in service, a Russian-built INS Vikramaditya and a British-built INS Viraat, while two domestic Vikrant-class vessels are still in construction. Anti-ship cruise missiles such as the YJ-12 and CM-400AKG are thus crucial for both China and Pakistan to compete against their common enemy in the Indian Ocean region, the report said.

My own view

Barak-8 speed is Mach 2 whereas CM-400AKG speed is Mach 4 as mentioned in the above article.
LINK: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Barak_8_(missile)

India can modify its destroyers into anti Ballistic missile destroyers with Prithvi Air Defence (PAD) missile which has a speed of Mach 5. This may give the required protection to INS Vikramaditya & INS Vikrant.

Let them use their micro aircraft carrier killer missile on their Junk fighter and look for our carriers and our regular navy will take out their entire PN using Brahmos.

A missile with a very high speed say 4 Mach will be less maneuverable while targeting a ship cruising at a 30 knots speed"¦ It will be good against a stationary or buildup areas"¦

If the data in wikipidia is right, it will take 218.95 seconds for CM-400AKG shot from 500km away at the minimum speed 3 mach to reach the target. During this period, the maximum distance that ship at a 30 knots can move is 3378.40m.

I really don't think that is a big challenge for the manueuverability of the missile.

Do you know the range of your own missile?

Sorry, confused CM-400AKG with YJ-12.
But my point still stands:
With the maximum range 250km and an average speed of 4 mach, it only needs 82.11 secondes to hit the ship. During this time, a ship with 30 knots can only move maximumly 1269.42m. It is even easier for the missile's manueuverability.

Not unbelievable. This is stuff from the 60s and 70s though. I don't know the reason for getting so pumped up about it.

I would any day prefer terrain hugging or sea skimming missiles to this missile, among which Brahmos is one of them.

Russia recently phased out such a missile, called the Kh-22. It is an air to surface missile and has a terminal speed of Mach 4. More recently, there is the Kh-15 which has a terminal velocity of around Mach 5.

The Americans had the AGM-69 which they phased out 3 decades ago and had a terminal speed of mach 3.5.

In tech parlance, Obsolete. Good for PAF.
Brahmos is terrain hugging ?

Ev

If the Chinese defense industry, the fourth largest exporter of defense tech
Don't know if you are still active but if you are then this is the most stupid thing to boast about.

As only Piss poor nations like Pak, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Sudan etc alone account for 75 % of your total weapon export, which essentially are low cost cheap knock offs.

That's the reason these countries have horrible war history and basically a dictatorship.

Since there are no CAG or accountability in these nations they buy your substandard products, while their military commanders migrate to US after retirement lol

Army raising a special BrahMos missile regiment

Apr 3, 2006

"The land-to-land version of BrahMos, which flies at a 2.8 Mach speed, was tested for the first time at Pokhran in December 2004. Since then, preparations were afoot to induct the road mobile complex of this missile in the Army," said an official.

"With terrain-hugging and infrared seeking capabilities, the Army will use BrahMos as its precision-strike weapon. It has a strike range of 300 km, which can be enhanced further," he added.

Two BrahMos regiments to be inducted soon: Defence Minister Manohar Parrikar

April 2, 2016

These missiles, which can hit surface targets by flying as low as 10 metres above the ground, have been developed as a joint venture between India’s DRDO and the Federal State Unitary Enterprise NPO Mashinostroyenia of Russia under BrahMos Aerospace.

Army to get steep-dive BrahMos missile regiment for China front

Aug 3, 2016

The missile's Block-III "steep-dive" version will now be deployed in Arunachal Pradesh to counter China's huge build of military infrastructure all along the 4,057-km Line of Actual Control. Flying at a velocity almost three times the speed of sound at Mach 2.8, the missiles also have "a combined high-low trajectory" to evade enemy defence systems.

"This BrahMos variant can take a steep dive up to 75 degrees. Defence scientists are already working on achieving a 90-degree steep-dive capability,

Brahmos perhaps has more variation in its block 2 version, Some report suggest far back in 2007 that it has such capability but perhaps only at terminal phase, But now its said it has tree hugging capability specifically when mentioning flying 10 meters above ground, It seems they are in constant improvement over the years ..

Spelling out facts is not boasting. And China now ranks as the Third largest exporter, behind only the US and Russia. We're importing less, and exporting more and more as the years go by.

http://www.reuters.com/article/us-china-defence-exports-idUSKCN0VU11Q

Suit yourself, we all have to start somewhere right? China's defense industry sells everything from helicopters, fighter jets, naval vessels, trainers, Surface to Air missiles and even drones now.

When China won the Turkish Air Defence contract (however brief the victory), CPMIEC beat out the Patriot missile system, MBDA's Aster 30 and even the Rusiian S300, not only in terms of cost, but on technical performance as well. Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, despite easy access to Russian S300's chose the Hq9 as well.

Norinco has been prolific in the sale of self-propelled howitzers and artillery systems to countries like Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and Algeria to the tune of Billions of dollars. Are Kuwait and SA "piss-poor"?

India is still buying basic artillery from BAE, whilst China is selling both artillery AND precision munitions guided by our own global satellite positioning system Beidou. So please, you calling China's defense exports "cheap" doesn't diminish the defense industry's achievements in the slightest.

We've got signed contracts to supply AIP submarines to two different Navies for gods-sake, what do you export?

Cool down man. We weren't offending you.:hot:

Now China is selling sophisticated defense technology, like the corvettes we sold to Algeria and Nigeria, beating out well established players like BAE or DCNS.

Well, our defense exports have doubled from $150 millions to $330 millions and have target for $2 billions for 2020. We can at least come in top 10 if need time to compete with US, Russia PRC.
Our customers also gonna be diverse, not specific.
Now China is selling sophisticated defense technology, like the corvettes
And exporting corvettes are the major deals out of our exorts. Yes, we still lag behind China though.:p

On Topic:
you didn't got what @Bornubus said I guess.
Are Kuwait and SA "piss-poor"?
No, but they aren't buying at large extent.

61% of China's arms exports is to three countries:
Pakistan: 35%
Bangladesh: 20%
Myanmar: 16%

Bangladesh and Myanmar are tensed with each other and pakistan is tensed with everyone in the world except PRC and Turkey.:biggrin2:
So, if you have a communist giant well capable of producing weapons in immediate neighborhood, buying weapons blindly is pretty obvious.
Well, as far as India is concerned, we have managed to drop imports from 75% to 60%. Further, will make 30% (70% indigenous material) and it's well going after reforms. Our defense exports doubled you know.
India still both buys and manufactures artillery because we are busy in getting more production facility. Don't worry about us, please.

And here's a thread where I need contribution of some Chinese members.
