The rocket initially fires straight up and hence needs thrust vectoring to steer. This is true for every rocket. There is no MaRV involved as this is not Reentry vehicle. This is the basic of rockets
You mean to say in basic rocket design you strap up directional thrust rockets near warhead??

Read properly what is written in underlined part.
Do you call any thrust vectoring as baby steps to MaRV? Isn't there a difference between RV and rocket? Can the same thing be used every where? It is like saying steering wheel of car is a baby step towards steering a plane!

Probably more is being hidden than said explicitly. Are we to understand that the tech used in glide stage can also be used in manuvering RVs.???

You know, that's a nice example you have cited. Steering the wheel of a car is basically a baby step towrds steering a plane.

Understanding a steering effect on car could definitely help you understand the basic of steering which could be applied to a plane too.

There is a difference between RV and Rocket. But to understand the effect of thrust on a RV, you would have to first try it out on a rocket for small matters like directional correctness. You don't simply strap on a rocket thruster to a RV and test MaRV at the very first shot. You need a much bigger target like a missile to first test and track its movement with relative speed and thrust.

Yes. Thats what I thought too. Its the Post Bus Vehicle that s manuvering not the RV. IMO RVs cannot manuvere themselves at high reentry speeds, hence only PBV can put them into defined trajectory. Mamuvering PBV enables a MiRV capability.
Actually, RV can maneuver themselves at high re-entry speeds, for example, Pershing 2 missile was the first one showing that capability.

Already tested and in service. The only thing we are going to do is show our claws to the world like how a tiger hides it in paw and when required it shown to the enemy and uses it....

Up till now we didn't felt the need to show but with the dragon breathing fire and the world heading towards world war 3 it has become a necessity to show our claws and precisely what we are doing now.... 😊

We had ASAT missile in our arsenal from 2012 but we conducted test only after China meddled with our RISAT satellite in 2019 to show that next time they do anything to our satellites their satellites too won't be spared....

So we always disclose our capabilities only after 5 to 10 years after we have already inducted and tested that capabilities.

Also one more thing Agni 5 is 8000kms MIRV capable missile which can hit anywhere in China and whole of Europe, Africa and Australia too. With Agni 6 we will bring the Americas too in our range.

One more thing Agni 5 and 6 are actually Surya 1 and 2 missiles which were in making from 1994 itself. So it should have been in service from 2010/12 itself. Which is when we conducted first test of Agni 5.... 😊😊

The real deals are SLBM now. With upcoming S5 class ballistic missile ( which we have started building) we need true blue ICBM for them 10-12k ranges.
So that we can second strike any place on earth.

K series is far ahead of Agni series missiles in both importance and technology.
Also more accurate.

A small kuesion....

What will happen after 2 years for us to wait for testing Agni-6 till then? If everything is in place, why not test now?
That conspiracy theory on RISAT was ......

Anyone who claims we already have this & that but choosing not to test doesn't understand the concept of deterrence. They drink the same kool-aid as the Pakistanis who dream of Timur ICBM and a 'secret' SLV developed 10 years ago.

We haven't tested any Agni-6 and we don't have any proven MIRV bus at the moment either. Till September last year we didn't even have a range instrumentation ship - what would be the point in testing a MIRV if you aren't able to accurately gather the data?

Let's not drink this kool-aid anymore. The things we have properly tested & achieved so far are already outstanding, things which very few countries are capable of doing. There's no need to satiate ourselves by dreaming up imaginary things we didn't yet do - let's leave that to the Pakistanis.
