how the range is more than twice,what about mtcr???Brahmos range is more than twice , approx, 800 km.

Drdo's 1000kg Guided glide bomb is different. It has foldable wings, while this system i.e. "stand off Glide Weapon" has fixed wings. Check the image below,

DRDO recently tested such 1000kg category Guided Glide bomb. Which can be fitted on LCA tejas and other aircraft in IAF, so that LCA can stay away from the Radar range and SAMS and throw this bomb nearly 100 to 150 km away from targets.
Going by the numbers on the board, the air frame without warhead weighs about 60 kgs which is a bit heavy for what seems to be carbon composite frame as displayed in the first picture. So far atleast I haven't heard of glide bombs made of carbon composites. And we have to take it into consideration that carbon composites increase the cost by a lot.It is the actual system, check the length and other dimensions,
Depending upon the flight altitude,a cruise missile's range can vary greatly.The 300 km stated range is for a high-low flight path.Similarly,for a low-low path,the range is about 160 km (give or take few kms).The same way,in a high-high trajectory,the range of Brahmos would be much higher due to less air drag suffered by the air frame as the air density is lower in the higher altitudes.But I heard the high-high range was about 600 km.how the range is more than twice,what about mtcr???
Its confirmed. Bhramos range is more than 800KM at all flight profiles/path/altitudes.how the range is more than twice,what about mtcr???
