Has any other country done this i.e send a satellite or probe to that location L1. Or is another country about to, now that they know India is going to launch a satellite there

No, keeping cover on solar mass to see corona was pioneered by NASA, not ISRO.

So about 8 probes have already been sent to the L1 location. Isro's will be the 9th. Agree, let's wish for some good discoveries from Aditya. That's the most important thing, as Anant said.

There aren't even 9 proper space agencies in world. US, China & France keep sending missions to L1. These 9 missions belong to 3 countries.

They were thinking whether to do Orbiter only mission or Orbiter - lander - rover mission.....most probably it will be the 2nd option

There was TDS-1 SATELLITE that was supposed to be launched by now to POC but no news about it so far it was based on RTG

Are you sure that TDS-1 will have RTG onboard....only things I knew so far were that it would carry indigenous atomic clocks, TWT amplifier,& electric thrusters

Initially there was plan to launch it in TDS -1 but i guess that was shifted to later TDS mission even qutds also got delayed

Yeah, just now I went through r/ISRO, RHU is confirmed to fly on a TDS satellite, but whether RTG will fly or not isn't confirmed
