CHAMAN – A senior police officer was killed and 11 others, including policemen were injured in a blast in Chaman, Balochistan on Monday, local media reported.

As per reports, the blast occurred near Boghra Chowk in Chaman targeting the vehicle of the District Police Officer Killa Abdullah, Sajid Mohmand Sajid Khan Mohmand.

Earlier, the deceased DPO was shifted to hospital after getting severely injured in the blast but he succumbed to his injuries. Emergency has been declared in hospitals.

Police and law enforcement agencies have surrounded the area to trace the miscreants involved in the terrorist attack.

The nature of the blast has not been determined yet. No group has claimed responsibility of the attack so far.

Balochistan Chief Minister Sanaullah Zahri and Interior Minister Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan condemned the attack.

It needs a visionary to think of strategic assets. Trump is not that visionary. The American gain is not just limited to disruption of OBOR, There are many other benefits of helping Balauchistan freedom fighters. Iran is nearby. In case of conflict between the US and Iran, Balauchistan can be used. Depends on how Balauchistan is helped to gain freedom. If US directly help Balauchistan gain freedom, U.S. can use Balauchistan the way they want against Iran. But if Iran helps Balauchistan freedom fighters to gain freedom, then they can be used against American interest.

Further Balauchistan is home of rare earth metals. Instead China exploit those resources, any country that helped Balauchistan freedom movement, will exploit those rare earth metals.

Further, freedom of Balauchistan can provide direct passage for US to Afghanistan without dependence on terrorist state porkistan.

If CIA has same metal like under previous governments, they would help Balauchistan freedom movement.

India only need to support any such efforts from the US. Once Balauchistan gets freedom, they will have India as a friendly neighbor.

The CIA already supports all insurgencies all over the world. They keep the situation at a boiling temperature but don't let it boil over to the point that there will be a change in the status quo. They just keep it as a bargaining chip.

If India inks pro-American deals, suddenly America becomes quiet about Indian involvement in any conflict. If India takes a decision in selfinterest which hurts American hegemony, then suddenly their deep state issues statements accusing India of meddling in Baluchistan. CIA chief has said it before, Christine Fair has said it before. "We know that the Indian embassy in Iran does a lot more than just issuing visas."

It is not in American interest to have an independent Baluchistan because an independent Baluchistan will defer towards Iran, India and Afghanistan and Russia (by proxy of all these nations which are pro-Russia). Pakistan is an unsinkable aircraft carrier for the US and their ONLY substantial military base in Asia. There are no military bases in China, India, Iran or Central Asian Republics. They need this strategic asset to remain whole. If it breaks up into small chunks, then the person who gets that chunk will be able to erode American influence in the region.

Everything doesn't need to be expressly said. That's for government decision makers and intelligence agencies to decide on Indian role. Hence I didn't say that India should finance Balauchistan freedom fighters. Whatever they deem fit, in the present circumstance, they may do.

My point is Balauchistan should get freedom. Pakistan should be further broken. To achieve that goal, whether American CIA does that or anyone does that, end result should be achieved. Balauchistan should get freedom from Pakistan and become an independent nation.
