We had only reconnaissance drones....

Since armed drones falls under restricted catogery of MTCR, so far we were unable to source suitable engines. Now when we are member of MTCR we can source any engine we need. Rustom-2 is stuck becuase of underpowerd engine. Though it's just a reconnisance UAV as yet. Sometime in future its armed version is also comming. And HAL is developing some engines to cater for cruise missiles and UAVs. Let's see if HAL comes with a suitable engine for Rustom-2 armed or we source one from outside. Right now HAL developed Manik is only suitable for cruise missles like Nirbhay.

Though in mean time Rustom-1 with HeliNa(status unknown).

Better display your bravado against an enemy which deploys air defense. These Chines drones will be swatted like flies.

We don't need to deploy Airborne Assets against rag-tag terrorists, may be your CCP doesn't train it's personnel well, same can be said about the countries which purchase Chinese drones.

Read again, my post wasn't for future drone, it was meant for something else that cannot be bought from money. And please get over with your bullshit, there is no such thing as chinese technology, reverse engineering is the word that more accurately describes these thing. Punk.
Try to Innovate something new, make a jet engine first then we'll talk. Try to make your own designed and r&d jets, vehicles, etc because we are proud of whatever we have because we know that we designed it and developed it, that is what is sexy, "Innovation" not "Imitation".

The US and China play the same game that USSR and US played.

Did the USSR AND US ever blew each others assets up? Nope. There are interceptions and wargaming between frontline forces but no actual war. Great powers don't fight each other because the consequences are too great.

India is not considered a rival by great powers so it is understandable Indians have naive thoughts about China attacking the US with drones.
