I've notice new construction in my Cantt after Nagrota. More armed sentries and Cemented shades instead of Tin shades.


Must be new guidelines.

How much would it cost to make all the first contact sentry posts bullet and bomb proof?
I was seeing one picture of a glass bullet proof sentry post (lost the link though). Such imposing security measures will demoralize any pakis who want to even touch the sentry.

It took 5-12 missile to down a single MI-17 which was flying without countermeasure suit during Kargil ..

Russian or American, These systems are hard to master and not reliable at all ..

Plus we will have a new army chief.
Bipin Rawat ji should end this stupidity of using 105mm mortars for paki posts.

RCL are used by JK Armed police not SOG beside the same plate carrier is common with RR

There are no "bullet proof" sentry post where i live but only Cemented - Bricks posts which can accommodate 3 - 4 sentries.

Enough to provide protection against small arms.

Because Helicopters have the ability to loiter in the target area and engage targets from close range.

Anybody that's left after the first strike can be eliminated by helicopters with their cannons.

A fighter cannot do all this.

How helicopter will see target in jungle? Unless it is used in close support, in which troops can point out locations of enemy.

Thats what I am saying , we should use swarm drones backed by troops on our side of LC. Loss of helicopter means loss of pilot. Swarm drones can be manufactured in 100s. Infact China has already taken lead in this are. We should buy from Israel and Make it in India

It's present on both Rudra and LCH as well as the older Mi-35.

Yes obviously it works in trees.
you won't find civilians ambling around near a terrorist camp so don't worry.

There will be intelligence - aerial.. HUMINT.. before the strike is carried out anyway.

And even if there are civilians, they are the same ones who come to terrorist funerals. So who gives a damn.
