Aziz admits ‘insufficient evidence’ on Kulbushan Jadhav

Says dossier on the Indian contained mere statements sans conclusive proof.
Pakistan Prime Minister’s Adviser on Foreign Affairs Sartaj Aziz on Wednesday admitted that the government was presented with only “insufficient evidence” on alleged Indian spy Kulbhushan Jadhav who is under detention.

Addressing a full Senate chamber, Mr. Aziz said the dossier on Jadhav contained mere statements. “It did not have any conclusive evidence,” he was quoted as saying by the Geo TV.

“What the dossier contained was not enough. Now it is up to the concerned authorities, how long they take to give us more matter on the agent,” Aziz said.

Mr. Jadhav, who was reportedly arrested in Balochistan after he entered from Iran, has been accused by Pakistan of planning “subversive activities” in the country.

‘Confessional video’

The Pakistan Army had also released a “confessional video” of Mr. Jadhav, who said he was the serving Indian Navy officer.

India has acknowledged Mr. Jadhav as a retired Indian Navy officer, but denied the allegation that he was in any way connected to the government.

India, Pakistan wasted 70 years in enmity, time for uninterrupted bilateral engagement: Abdul Basit

New Delhi: Striking a conciliatory note amid rising tension in ties, Pakistan today said it does not want to live in "perpetual hostility" with India, noting time has come for the two neighbours to decide whether status quo should continue or a new beginning be made.

Calling for an "uninterrupted and uninterruptable" bilateral engagement, Pakistan High Commissioner Abdul Basit said the two countries must overcome the differences in order to embark on a "irreversible trajectory" of cooperative relationship.

Maintaining that Pakistan was ready for comprehensive talks with India, Basit, however, said the desire for engagement was missing from the Indian side, adding his government has patience and was ready to wait for resumption of dialogue.

"I think we have wasted 70 years of our existence. Time has now come to make up our mind on what do we want. Whether we would like to continue with the status quo or we want to make a new beginning in our ties," Basit said.

His comments at a discussion on Indo-Pak relations came amid escalating tension between the two countries over a number of cross-border terror attacks, including at army establishments in Uri and Nagrota, and India's surgical strikes across the LoC in September.

"Pakistan does not wish to live in perpetual hostility with India. We remain positive and constructive but it takes two to tango. There are serious problems between the two countries. We cannot shy away from them but at the end of the day we can engage in purposeful diplomacy, we can realise results for mutual satisfaction and make a good beginning," he said.

At the same time, he said, for Pakistan Jammu and Kashmir was the core issue between the two countries and finding a solution to it could bridge the trust deficit them.

"We need to move from conflict management to conflict resolution and that obviously cannot happen unless we talk to each other with sincereity and seriousness of purpose," Basit said.

See both articles, Pakistan starts two tongue policy:

Whenever India starts hitting them hard they try to pacify to escape direct war and calm borders, next they will now handover Kulbhushan Jadhav to India to create environment of talks and then again to square one of hitting India when there is a regime change or when we are complacent.

I would rather say this government should not let this happen, get custody of Jadhav, follow no talks policy till they handover high value terrorists like Hafeez sayeed and Azhar massod to see their real intent and keep hitting them hard militarily, economically, politically, as well as isolating Pakistan on every international forums.

This pacifying policy after hitting should not continue, the message should be clear if you want talks and peace and do not want us to balkanize Pakistan then walk the talk first.

Kulbhushan will be never given to us, pak media (ISPR media) has worked so hard to create a propaganda in paki awam about catching an indian big fish and RAW agent kulbhushan was involved in destabilising balochistan (obviously for domestic consumption). Kulbhushan was a big investment by ISI and they will never give up on it obviously they cant use that card at international level but its enough to fool their awam.

New strategy from Jihadis to hide behind human shields.

Most of time its females who start pelting stones and stopping the force giving enough time for Jihadi to escape.

If he's dead then count this as another failure of BJP govt after inviting ISI on our airbase
You know how muzzies are. That so called "RAW spy" will also be hanged.

India is enhancing its small arms capability to take on Pakistani snipers along the border with Pakistan. The Indian Army has lost 25 soldiers within two months as a result sniping and mortar fire from across the border.
New Delhi
— India will equip its army border units with long range light machine guns and night vision devices (NVDs). The Indian Army has asked for ‘state-of-art' night sights from global manufacturers in order to help soldiers fire 7.62 mm Light Machine Guns (LMGs) accurately in any visibility.
India needs these long-range 24x7 LMGs to dissuade Pakistani snipers from taking up positions to harass Indian soldiers manning posts along the border.
"In terms of design, metallurgy and performance parameters, the sight should be ‘state of the art'. The night sight should be capable of providing the desired performance across all spectrum of employment in the Indian terrain and climatic conditions. The sight should comply with laid down military standards and other international standards in vogue," reads a document of the proposal issued by the Indian Army.
The range of detection of a human target at minimum 1000 meters will be hold much importance in the mountainous Himalayan region where life of soldiers posted within visual range remains at stake especially on the front with Pakistan.
The Indian Army has for long sought a new 7.62 mm LMG. Though Indian defense scientists have developed 7.62 mm LMG, it is not clear whether the army has approved it for induction. Officials from the Indian government refused to comment it. However, it is known that Israeli firm IWI is one of the contenders for the tender with its Negev NG7. IWI has already received orders for the 5.56 mm LMG. It claims the NEGEV NG-7 is a derivative of the 5.56 LMG. This seeks to place IWI in an advantageous position to meet the army's need for 7.62 mm LMG with a semi-automatic mode.

And our esteemed terror penal of porkis were arguing that just on the basis of his fake indian passport he is terrorist.

How can an indian passport be fake if it is issued by Indian govt. And why would a cmd. Rank officer would enter pakistan with his identity of being Indian and without paki visa?

They do not have any evidence. And the fact is this info has been once again leaked by geo and dawn.

The pakis r once again in the state of caugh with their pants down. They have kidnapped him from somewhere in Iran as they also cannot prove that he was present in Pak when caught.

Brainless idiot porkis. [emoji23]
