As you know, MMRCA requires 50% defence offsets and buying military equipment is directly transferable to write-offs. In Brasil we will buy 10 KC-390, what products does France need that India makes?

BrahMos? But given France's position on Syria, Russia might object.

Make sure to do a "live test" of the bhramos specifically on the british aircraft carrier before investing on it. Fire 2 to have better odds.

win-win :D

offset is not like that it is about investing here in india 50% of money to make aircraft here. Ambani is not fool if you r says set off this way.

It can launch some of its satellites on PSLVs ,for about half the cost it would take through European launch vehicles.

Purchasing products from India are written-off as offsets. It is totally up-to us how we give them.

No Sir we are not letting you off so easily

Off sets policy means invest in our technological sector , then buy those goods and then again we buy your
products

It is a convulated policy but the idea is to benefit Indian industry and increase the technological know how

But it is also flexible and waivers are allowed when some direct offset is not possible then some
low tech indirect offsets may be allowed

But it will be all done a case by case basis ie what is needed and what is possible

No sir, off-sets have to be approved by committee, but it is up to the supplier to submit them. There is plenty of lee-way in India's policy and the lobby is to loosen requirements even more with higher investment. Buying OTS from India is applicable.

1) NLCA? Since Franch Navy has only one Multirol variant with the Rafael, Help us finish NLCA fast, use your own M88 engine with eco core (if it works?). Use it along with the Rafael as a small multiroll fighter.
or
2) Make another Aircraft Carrier in India.
or
3) Join with India for AMCA program.

Ya, there really nothing you can buy.

Only real option is cooperate with India on one its many projects, but I dont see that happening.
