How come!! France isn't a reliable partner ! How come they again sign deals!! I need explanations!!

(Reuters) - France has been informed by Qatar that the Gulf Arab state intends to buy 24 Dassault Aviation-built Rafale fighter jets, the French president's office said in a statement on Thursday.

President Francois Hollande will travel to Doha on May 4 to sign the contract, which also includes MBDA missiles, the statement said.

Post Indian deal the uncertainty over the future of the programme is over.

I expect Dassault to get few more deals this year.

Why not.
India and UAE are the expected next buyers. (it seems that the negociations with UAE are well advanced.)
But not necessarily,we thought that India would be the first buyer... and it's actually Egypt.

They will surely increase the production. (11/year actually to 30/year) if there are more deals.

The capacity has always been 24/year... increasing further requires signing new long lead contracts for source material and rehiring/retraining personnel. This isn't required at this point but if UAE signs the deal for 60+... it will have to expand.

Capacity and rate are two different numbers, hence 24 and 11.

Eric Trappier said that they will increase the production to 2 Rafale/month.
