The Russian Pacific Fleet's warships will conduct maneuvers jointly with the Indian Navy on their way to the Gulf of Aden, Pacific Fleet spokesman Captain First Rank Roman Martov told Interfax-AVN on Friday.

The Russian warships will make a stopover in the Indianport of Mumbai. After the visit, naval maneuvers will be held with Indian warships, he said.
"The crew of the Marshal Shaposhnikov large antisubmarine warfare ship held a live firing drill after entering the Indian Ocean andreaching the Bay of Bengal, hitting simulated air and sea targets," Martov said.
The crew spent 18 days at sea, practicing anti-terror skills using Russian and international anti-pirate warfare experience. The crews of the Kamov Ka-27 deck helicopters flew air reconnaissance missions. Several survivability trials were conducted.
The Pacific Fleet's naval taskforce under Rear Admiral Vladimir Vdovenko's commandis currently in the Indian Ocean off Sri Lanka, Martov said.
Russian warships will visit Thailand, South Korea, Djibouti and the Seychelles.
The eighth task force on the Gulf of Aden mission includes the Marshal Shaposhnikov, the Irkut tanker, and the Alatau, a rescue tugboat.

since pakistan was shouting loud that it fetched russia from india and it is now new house of russian diplomacy in south asia. this is a tight slap on pakistan's face. russia and usa both on indian side
