I don't understand why PLAAF is bragging about every pilot having a bachelors degree when Chinese degrees are worthless.

It is important since the world feels all Chinese are like this:

It is to inform the world that those days when there was the Nanking Incident are over!

China is now a modern country where even the rickshaw man (a metaphoric equivalent) is a graduate!

It is true. Chinese entrepenuers that start hi-tech companies have to reeducate Chinese graduates with their own corporate universities because the rote education they get in China doesn't provide them the skills to do the job, much less the innovation to create anything. Then CCP won't even accredit the corporate school that is 10X the education they provide.

Simply too many ppl in China, we have to use some criteria like degree to separate high productivity person form low productivity ppl.

What this case related to foreigners' view and Nanjing?

If we care about foreigners's feeling that much, you guys will not think us " aggressive ", " imperialism".

The foreigners view and Nanking is that quite a few think that China is still as was it was in the days of the Nanking Incident.

They don't realise that China is today a modern country.

Apparently, you have missed the context.

Preceeding the photo the sentence of mine was

It is important since the world feels all Chinese are like this:

which was in reply to

Armand's

I don't understand why PLAAF is bragging about every pilot having a bachelors degree when Chinese degrees are worthless.
In short, the message implied was that China has progressed and is modern and not in the days of that picture or the Nanking Incidence!

China curbs use of coveted military license plates in latest anti-corruption move - Washington Post

Surprising that you are not aware of this!

It is happening right there in China!
whats you point here? not aware of what?

Chinese degrees are as worthless as Franch degrees.
worthless?

chinese people with chinese degress can make a ride on our manned spaceship and walk around in the outer space and other chinese degree holders helped make the rockets etc.

besides chinese degree can make weapons like ASAT missile etc which may not be something all the people here can comprehend.

You said that the military is moving with luxury cars with fancy number plates.

I only showed that you do not know what is happening in China.

Xi has removed that privilege!

know it very clearly but just a symbolic move better than nothing. cpc also said no corruption allowed as per cpcs own regulations and laws of prc which turned out to be just a joke at least so far.

will see if something real can happen within 1 year about the cars.

Besides, it is Chinese with Western degrees that design those rockets. Why do you think engineering is the second most popular degree for Chinese foreign students? They get the Western degree, get a position in a Western company and steal the designs back to China. They are the only ones that can figure out how to come up with fixes since Chinese degree holders can only recite the text book.

Chinese graduates have no innovation or creative thinking = fact.

That's the ultimate Chinese dream for which they are ready to trample over each other..... in the queues outside Western countries Embassies/Consulates :thumb:
Chinese graduates have no innovation or creative thinking = fact.
The Chinese know this very well that this is their serious limitation but fear to acknowledge ( typical Chinese evasiveness). That is reason behind putting their entire focus on industrial espionage, massive (govt. sponsored & run) technology pilferage networks, non-existent IP regime & the gigantic focus & resource allocation towards these activities.

Chinese show a religious zeal in performing these duties as they genuinely believe that this is what would enable them to rise. But, when a nation's industrial foundation is kleptomaniac pilferage & simply cost-arbitrage with zero innovation, nil value-add & above all, poorest of quality control, it's anybody's guess how far that can sustain itself, forget competing with anyone.

All major Chinese project be it heavy engineering, infrastructure or transport etc. are carried out by Western MNC's (engineering firms & design consultancies) & their 100% owned localized Subsidiaries ( be it Plan, design, lay-out or implement phase). This is a well-known fact, that have been unable to do anything on that scale within their own country, forget doing it outside.

Then, all their talk about outdoing the West technologically in 40 years.....all Gas & Fizzle. Empty Chinese rhetoric.
