The weirdest thing about Hitler is that he is Austrian...do we dare to think a politician from one of our neighbouring countries come and become a revolutionary leader in India? :D
The fundamental pillar of Nazi ideology was German ultranationalism. Hitler considered himself a German, not an Austrian. His foreign policy prior to WWII, from 1933-1939, was aimed at consolidating all German-speaking people into a single nation. Saarbrucken, the Rhineland, Austria, the Sudetenland, Danzig, Memel - all of these German-inhabited areas were seized by Hitler before he declared war on Poland and started WWII.

Hitler self-identity as a German was very similar to how Napoleon considered himself French even though he was born in Corsica, and how Stalin considered himself Russian even though he was Georgian.

He was an excellent delegator as well, for example, when he appointed Albert Speer, his Architect, as Armaments Minister, who almost doubled tank and plane production during the allied bombing raids.

Austria too is a Germanic nation.

Why do you want to open our politics to more foreigners, one is too many. But if you believe Mulayam Singh, people of pakistan and b'desh have a natural right to settle here. So, Pervez could land here too.

I think they have changed the title to "Gandhi to Hitler" to avoid controversy.

Travel? Research?

Where did you go? What did you research?
For starters, just go around on knowledge tourism. We might run into one another and maybe we could take a good trip together to South America sometime to get into specifics. :)

Biologically and if I remember correctly, I am your Papa's age and so are many more in here.
Age is certainly no barrier to learning new. I would gladly learn something previously I didn't know, from a younger person for the sake of better knowledge. Knowledge is not essentially complementary to age.

No one is claiming that they were better...its only they managed to clear up or hide there activities while the nazis weren't able to do so.
True.

Both were fruits from the same tree and both need to be condemned.
Condemned for their independent actions; but from pure national interest one has to be appreciated for the gesture. Leaving aside the evils done to other nations or communities (purely in strategic terms).

Let us have a look at these photos:
Reposting for correctness.

Let us have a look at these photos:

Now ponder:
  • Did the Nazis commit mass murder? Sure.
  • Was it wrong? Sure.
  • Was it correct to punish those surviving Nazis for war crimes? Sure.
  • Were European Jews whiter than Indians? Yes.
  • Did the Nazis have every opportunity to send Indian POWs from the British Indian Army into the gas chambers? Yes.
  • Were they sent to the gas chambers? No. Instead, the Nazis gave them food, shelter, money, training, guns and rifles and submarine transit to Bose to Japan.
  • Who were the main victims of the Nazis? 6 million European Jews + 26 million predominantly white Soviet citizens + others = mainly white people. Very few Indians, Mongoloid Asians or Africans, that too KIA.
  • Were the Nazis allied with the Japanese? Yes.
  • Are the Japanese white people? No.
  • Were the Nazis more racist than the British Empire? Definitely not.

Are we trying to juge the man by todays standards???
or should we judge him by the standards of 1930 when any one who was not so white was considered sub human.
as for allying with nazis were the britons were any better when it came to indians??
Bose is a disgrace , a egotistical maniac that for self egotistical purposes was blinded to bring shame upon Indians by allying with the NAZIS. There is no justification to ally with a genocidal maniac for any reason , period.

plenty of other people can be admired for administrative and political skills
without stooping in to the moral abyss that is Nazi Germany
Abraham Lincoln, George Washington, rusavelt and Winston chearchile come to mind
and there are plenty of others
admiring Hitler is a stein on Indian reputation

Winston Churchill was a known India Hater, why do you admire him, if I may ask?

Hitler was Evil No Doubt on that,in his time they were ahead of all they invented Rocket,Jet Engine and in every point they were impossible to get defeated but the things impossible for men is simple for the Almighty ,Hitler become history because he raised his hand against Israel. The world again saw the hand of the Almighty in 1948,1967,1973 and the world will see it again whenever Israel is in trouble.

He stole your swastika, you know.
Even though, the swastika (su+asti+ka = suastika => swastika), is a Sanskrit word, the symbol is, surprisingly found all over the world.
The earliest swastika (as of now) was carved onto a mammoth ivory in Mezine, Ukraine (dated 10,000 BC).

Here is a pic of that swastika.

But, yeah I guess Hitler copied the symbol, thinking it was exclusive to the Aryans.

Totally agree with your analysis. Nazis were not racists because if they were, they would never have befriended INA or helped India.
