so far i know drdo take innitiative for light tank production with some polish company,anyone have any idea what is the position of that project.

AFAIK work on UPB Anders (UPB - Uniwersalna Platforma Bojowa eng. Universal Combat Platform) is made by OBRUM and BUMAR, I don't know if DRDO is really interested in cooperation with this project.

UPB Anders can be used in different configurations like IFV, APC, FSV (Fire Support Vehicle pol. WWO - Wóz Wsparcia Ogniowego vel Light Tank) and many other configurations.

UPB (UPB - Uniwersalna Platforma Bojowa / UCP - Universal Combat Platform) Anders in IFV - Infantry Fighting Vehicle variant, here equipped with Hitfist-OWS unmanned turret armed with 30mm Bushmaster II automatic cannon, 7,62mm UKM-2000C coaxial machine gun and Spike ATGM's, it can carry 3 crew members and 8 dismounts.

UPB Anders can be converted in to WWO (WWO - Wóz Wsparcia Ogniowego / FSV - Fire Support Vehicle) with low profile turret armed with 120mm RUAG CTG/L50 120mm smoothbore gun, it can be converted in to SPH, SPAAG, ARV, CMV, C2 vehicle, Armored Medical vehicle and other configurations.

This is still early tech demonstrator, hopefully first prototypes will be builded soon.

105mm have smaller recoil than 120mm, there are only two 120mm guns that probably can be used, M360/L48 from US and Rhinemetall 120mm LLR gun.

And no, not only for export, there are some rumors that our army want to equip brigades armed with Rosomak AFV's with such version as direct fire support vehicle. Similiar idea like US SBCT's with M1126 ICV's supported by M1128 MGS's.

BTW US officials are interested with UPB Anders design solutions for their GCV.
