from a recent article it could be 4th test of K4 (development test).not from arihant as they won't take risks untill K4 became a mature system.

Per my understanding of a missile launch from submarine....

The missile will be first ejected from sub using water pressure... then finally solid motors would start.

I guess three times missile is tested, atleast one time it was mentioned as submerged mobile platform.

It wouldn't be a miracle if the test is conducted from Arihant. Then again, why should GOI declare that K4 was tested from Arihant. GOI can declare that test was from Submerged Mobile Platform (like the last time)

Because testing from submarine is a big step forward towards a nuclear triangle that India has been working for. It will be a great pushing up for India's nuclear status. As a country following minimum nuclear deterrent policy, it is quite dangerous and stupid to make your potential enemy to underestimate your nuclear capability.
