In emergency can't this pontoon itself be used to launch nuclear missiles? Can someone detect where the pontoon is with huge coastline India has.

Guess what 8-12 pontoons near Gujarat or Maharashtra coastal waters and Porkistan should be covered and all nuke submarines for lizard only. And we can have cost effective detterance.

Theoretically possible but practically useless .

India test fires 350 km range ballistic missile Prithvi-II from Integrated Test Range off Odisha coast.

Waiting for updates on tests of K-4 & 300Km missile from ship......

Agni II must be all composite missile by now. Unfortunately, we are unable to see the pictures of these latest missile now a days. Agni I has transformed completely. it is light weight now with thrust victor and highly advance guidence system Agni III has lost more than 50% of its weight. Its range would have been more than 5000 km by now but we are told that it is a 3500 KM missile.

Now waiting for news on K-4...
Well we tested our operational missiles Prithvi 1&2 & Agni 1&2 and now Dhanush.... upgrades or preparation ?

Looks like they are validating guidance module with NAVIC incorporated...

So far NAVIC is only released for application validation, not for general public usage.

If this logic holds true, we might see entire gamut of missile arsenal tested within the next two years.

There isn't a pic or video released of A5 since 2015. Since its now canisterised its more likely to have become MIRV capable otherwise i don't find any reason for such secrecy. A6 will take few months more i guess.

A5 itself is 50tonne missile. It is already 10000km range if we go by the standards of similar missiles by weight. I don't think there is a need for A6 at all. The same missile with modified 3rd stage is all it takes for MIRV or any new addition
