@ahmedsid It's obvious you dont have a clue what the army is for? No its not for killing, primary responsibility of any army is to protect nation's frontiers and not going around inducting sick kids.
Bloodred, the kid was inducted as a honorary for a day given his terminally ill condition. He is not going to serve the army or protect his nation. It has only fulfilled his one wish and he must have gone home satisfied. PA is not inducting sick kids on a permanent basis. Why are you not getting this simple point?.

come on guys, here is a lad suffering from a disease that could be the very reason of his death, lets not make a joke out it, seriously how many of us are suffering from it that we start making fun of it. on the gesture shown by the PA, i think it was fantastic, it shows they do have a humane face as well, no matter what the intention, interpretations of which are best left outside. as for the lad out there, hope he does well and hope he remains in high spirits and faces this painful disease bravely, the treatment of which is as painful and traumatic which is one hell. may GOD bless this lad.

Geez guys, could we be a little more insensitive?

The child has cancer, fir chrissakes.

I think it was a very noble gesture, allowing a child to fulfill, for a day, a dream he's always cherished. And may never get to see happen in adult life.

One of the few things, I'll ever respect the Pakstani Army for.

The simple point is not that simple when you think a little about it, henceforth any terminally kid will demand a similar right. Uniform has great value, its not a costume for santa claus to give to every sick kid.

Little bit of counselling to the kid about the impracticality of such show would have convinced him rather allowing him to wear the uniform. Adults should behave like adults and not give in to such demands of children.

If people spend some time thinking logically about this rather than getting emotional and wailing "hey he has cancer, no harm in belittling the uniform of the army" they would understand why this was not the right thing to do.

But it seems people would rather increase post counts instead of reflecting over this matter seriously.

My last post here , getting tedious making the same point which clueless posters cant grasp.
