Actually no! the Bombay duck is a saltwater fish , what we had there was freshwater fish that were caught on lines in the camp by our tribal guides and cooked after cleaning on embers , though i must add the local grass and copious amounts of good alcohol may have had something to do with the way we wolfed it down as well

added below is the link of the guys we went with a young energetic bunch with very good experience in mountaineering and diving among other things, this was co founded by gary and jason lamare, gary lamare is an avid mountaineer and has the distinction of being one of the youngest people to scale Mt Everest.
