    MUSCAT — Sayyid Badr bin Saud al Busaidy, Minister Responsible for Defence Affairs, received in his office at Mu'askar Bait Al Falaj yesterday Shashi Kant Sharma, Defence Secretary of India, and his accompanying delegation currently visiting the Sultanate. The meeting discussed cooperation between the two friendly countries in the military fields.
    The meeting was attended by Mohammed bin Nasser al Rasbi, Defence Ministry's Under-Secretary, the Indian ambassador to the Sultanate and the delegation accompanying the guest. The guest also chaired the Indian side in the Joint Military Cooperation Committee between the Defence Ministries of the two countrieswhich was held at Al Shafaq Club affiliated to the Sultan's Armed Forces (SAF) yesterday.
    From the Omani side the meeting was chaired by Al Rasbi. The meeting discussed joint cooperation between the two countries and aspects of supporting the march of existing cooperation between them. The meeting was attended by Brigadier Salim bin Mohammed al Jahdhami, Director General of Administration and Human Resources at the Command of the Royal Army of Oman (RAO) and member of the Joint Military Cooperation Committeebetween the defence ministries in the Sultanate andIndia. Sharma and his accompanying delegation arrived here on Saturday evening. — ONA
