“The Obama Administration will likely look to keep both issues separate,” says Brettonwoods Research founder Vladimir Signorelli about the Ukraine-inspired sanctions and the Syria crisis. “Still, Washington can’t ignore how ‘well Russia’s cooperation against ISIS will play in European capitals.
