We need a good engine at any cost. A 75 Kn Dry and /125 KN + afterburner is the need of hour.
It's impossible, they already choose a smaller very efficient And maintainance friendly engine f414.
They cannot use a f110 class like 75kn or even more kn engine... If they would have felt to use that class engine they would have preferred Ge f110 which has 73 to 84kn thrust engine variants... But then it's a very heavy engine almost 1.8 tons which even if we would have made indigenously of same class would have not weighed less than that... It's maintenance is more, very less service life compared to f414...
F414 also has 65kn dry variants.

The issue is that India doesn't pay the price as much as Chinese did.
Even before Chinese became West's ally, over 70 Chinese divisions were deployed on the Sino-Soviet border.
After Chinese signed the deal with US, the understanding was as soon as the WW3 starts, no matter who started, these 72 Chinese divisions would match north immediately to hold 40 soivet divisions so they couldn't move to Europe. As the consequence, Chinese were willing to bear over 2000 Soviet nukes attack.
That was the price Chinese was willing to pay for these techs.
So in other words while the CCP rails about the century of humiliation blaming the west for it , the CCP has no qualms being tbe west's bitch when it suits it , willing to sacrifice the lives of its Han slaves.

Man , the CCP & the Han slaves they lord it over certainly deserve each other .

Did u see recently the evergrande biggest real estate companies of china is being sold because it cannot pay it's debt I also read stories of customers who took loans for houses but did not got on time and they defaulted there loans.when bank went to sease there house, the house didn't exist because the floor was constructed yet...

Now notice the difference in dimension. this is the reason why they can not be use interchangeably. When we talk of this proposed engine, it has the ability to replace the GE 414 without any major modification in airframe. Some times GE 414 EPE is also discussed which will be of same size but will have higher power. So it will be fit to be used as replacement and not any other engine.

When we planned to used proposed new engine, defense experts said that it will reach the top speed of 2600 KMPH i.e 2.15 mach revised from 1.8 mach with GE 414. Now extending same logic, MWF may also have significantly higher performance with proposed new engine. More importantly, higher dry thrust will help batter performance in super cruise which is revised to Mach 1.6 for AMCA with New engine.

For ur knowledge there are Varints of f414 epe & ede which can make 75kn dry and 28500pounds wet I read this on ge yt video so u can do conversion in kn (may be 115kn)
The ede has 3 times more components life d means durability (I read this on ge website article of 2001 when they were seeking funding for this development...
This epe & ede are same but ede is rated for similar power output of a f414-400 engine which is 58or 61 or some article say 65kn dry (depending on Variants) and 98kn wet.. basically it's epe but rated for low power for replacement of f414-400.

Epe has very significant changes as it's a next generation leap. The compressor was completely newly designed.. to sustain higher thrusts. It reduced 1 HP stage to 6 total hp stages.
Just like the pratt Whitney f119 with just 6 HP stages..
Retaining very high dry thrust... And MOST IMPORTANT 3-4% LESS SFC.
The epe dry thrust is around 75kn and wet 117kn.

And forget about the amca mk2 engine long time to go there Tejas mk2 will be there before 2030..
Million dollar question is is in6 Variant based on epe variants which has significant higher performance and 3-4% lower SFC..
Or they are choosing 3x more life over performance and going for derated epe variant f414-ede.

Well 3x life is of epe version when operated at same power outputs of f414-400.
It is derated epe with same 6HP.stages new compressor..
And go check out the first screen shot the same article has that mention. On top
it's not in screen shot ,okay
Search ge seeking funding for new epe development u will find it..

Well ede & epe have same changes or upgrades whatever it is..
Epe has 25% increase in thrust & ede has 15% increase in thrust compared to baseline f414..
Although ede has 3x more components life of hot core section..
Overhaul time for both f404& f414 baseline Variant is 4000hrs and 6k hrs life..
This ede has increased overhaul time to 6k.hrs so it will have long life like f22s & f35s engine they have somewhere between 9-10k hrs operational life..

Does anyone follow Chinese economic policy?
The reason Evergrande and other property developers got into today's trouble is: Chinese government stopped the banks providing loan to those companies with super high leverage by declaring the so called "3 red lines" policy. Until today, the government only allows loans for those unfinished projects instead of saving these developers.
In other words, the CCP is proactively burst this bubble before it grows big enough to kill everyone.
As I explained before, property market is a big problem for China. China would have a difficult period when they are fixing it.
The bad news is that China is in this period now.
The good news is that China didn't wait to the final minute.

But anyway, I think our Indian friends here don't need this kind of thinking.
Let's repeat: China is collapsing. :)

Yeah I know . ISRO has a high altitude test facility for liquid rocket engines . Shouldn't be a massive effort to have one for turbofans . I mean if this facility is only there to mount engines and check their measrements then this is probably not worthy of a press release.
