This is just capacity not power consumption.
If look at total power consumption is kwh only then will you get the true picture .
You need to factor in wasted energy loss due to heat loss and inefficiency in transmission of electricity.

In response to the Chinese building dams in Tibet and making sure that any water released by the Chinese will not result in massive overflowing or flooding.
That is just 1 reason. Another reason is Arunachal Pradesh wants to further boost its economy. Settling land and tribal resettlement to get dam projects going is a good way to get massive inflows of money to the state (and corrupt local politicians). But dam projects in India take too long to complete even when opposition is low. There is a big lack of engineering firms and turbine manufacturers who can do clean and timely construction. Hopefully these dams get up and running. Most were proposed in the early 2000s but subsequently got stuck/cancelled

That handle is posting rubbish as usual with no context. There was a sudden cyclone that caused that. I doubt that old terminal was built to handle it in the first place. The new terminal should open this or next year.
did Adani built this? I mean its too much for Congis or Andolanjeevis to differentiate construction and maintenance.

24 GW translates to about 200 lakh (20 million) houses I guess. If each house has 6 people, then 24 GW would serve 1.2 crore (120 million).
You can't say like that, its not like all units will be operational at all time. More likely only 1/3rd or 30%.
