A small contingent of Australian Special Forces soldiers has just returned home.

They've been involved in Australia's first ever joint exercise with India's elite troops.

The Department of Defence won't say how many were involved in the exercise, which had a counter-terrorism and counter-insurgency focus.

The army says further and larger exercises are now being planned.

For once I like the level of Opsec maintained . Aussie SASR pound for pound one of the better SOF units of the planet and with Polish GROM they are 2 of my most fav Western SOF units.

For most of the "martial races" soldiering is still a priority. Here i am taking about the NCO recruitment of majority of Regiments formed on the basis of martial race theory.

Even several of the PVC and MVC belongs to the family of hereditary soldiers.

Famous case in point are Yogendra Yadav, Bana Singh, Arun khetrapal and Digendra Kumar MVC. All belong to the family of soldiers with a martial history of hundreds of years.
