'Command and Control' goes into detail about nuclear weapons and ballistic command and control issues, while parallel narrating the story of a nuclear missile accident in Arkansas in 1980. It is required reading for US missile officers.

Strongly. Strongly recommended if interested in how nukes and nuke missiles work and how they are commanded- one of my favorites right alongside Daniel Ellsberg's 'Doomsday Machine'
