Less upbeat and encouraging now โ˜น. There is no definite SSLV launch in March, and no other launch is certain to go up, even within a 2 month time frame! Of course, there will be launches, it's the lack of certainty as to when, that is dismaying. Hoping for the best!

I hope you are not confused the second post which filters out only missions of significance.

Actual launch log depends upon the planning and output of production segment. Schedules are made as per estimation but gaps in planning delay things like manufacturing or procurements (or sometimes delays at end of government). ISRO was much on time for 10+ launches last year until loosing in last quarter of 2023.

Actions are being taken to close gaps against estimates and we will see fruitful results in maximum 5 if not just 2 years. India will have huge demand of small satellites and accordingly, launch frequency would reach 30-40 year. Difference being our majority launches won't be medium lift LVM3 class rockets but small SSLV & Vikram-II class rockets. India is closely where China & Japan were in 1990s and 2000w.

Indian industry needs minimum a decade to actually start building and using MLVs and HLVs, provided Indian & international market provides them with demands.

Wow, isn't that an awfully light launch vehicle. When you think of SSLV(120 tonnes) or even SLV-3( 17.6 tonnes). What kind of payload can the vehicle lift?

Why aren't any missions being announced? It's April, for crying out loud. You would think that specific dates would be released like April 22nd or May 5th for an SSLV or a PSLV. They did that for the last 2 launches, of Xposat and Insat 3Ds.

I have a feeling that this year won't have more than 4-5 orbital launch missions (excluding SSLV and Vikram just in case) and will go dry, but witnessing few key launches of Gaganyaan-1, NISAR and some other notable mission. TV-D2 and may be, third landing of RLV and TV-A1.
