Thanks for the thread buddy.
The thread is strictly about schedules or tentative orbital and sub orbital launches. I will always post an updated summary for launches planned for next 3 years after every update. No other discussions are requested and will get deleted or moved.

There is no need to put an entire article to apprise us about date. Just leave the URL and state the launch schedule below it. Further, this thread will not cover launch of sounding rockets.

Global Indian Navigation Satellite System or NAVIC-2 × 24 to 32 satellites

Indian Spectroscopic Imaging Space Telescope (INSIST, somewhat similar to Hubble) - GSLV MkIII or UMLV mid heavy

2028 - Indian mission to Jupiter/GSLV MkIII

The list covers only official proposals (proposed by ISRO or IIA personnel at some point of time). Timeline may be shifted towards very long delays as research barriers or launch failures aren't being assumed.

Further, to launch Gaganyaan M1 in 2022, we need at least 7-8 launches of GSLV MkIII between 2022 which I don't think is practical and mission might get delayed.

BTW, keep posting above list with updates (only upto 2025) after every update. That's how we are going to run this thread.

Regards

  • EOS-03/GISAT-1 - GSLV MkII F10 - Geostationary earth observation - March/April
  • EOS-02/Microsat-2A - SSLV D1 - Reconnaissance - April
  • EOS-04/RISAT-1A - PSLV-C52 - Reconnaissance - July
  • 3 X BlackSky globe satellites (foreign) - SSLV D2 - July
  • EOS-06/OceanSat-3 - PSLV-C53 - Oceanography - October
  • NVS-01 - GSLV MkII F14 - Next generation NAVIC - November
  • Uncrewed Gaganyaan's first experimental orbital mission - GSLV MkIII M3
1+7 = 8 highest ever in number but again it includes 2 SSLV.

The Indian Space Research Organisation has revised the launch schedule of geo imaging satellite GISAT-1 on board GSLV-F10 rocket following a "minor issue" with the spacecraft.
The Bengaluru-headquartered space agency was earlier looking to launch the satellite on March 28, subject to weather conditions.
"There is a minor issue with the satellite", ISRO sources told PTI.
"As of now, we are planning to launch it on April 18".

Operations hit, but Isro still hopes for December launch
Sources in Isro said that even before the lockdown they were working alternative days to ensure physical distancing, but the lockdowns have resulted in a work-fromhome scenario, which enables only a small percentage of the work to be done.
BENGALURU: Restrictions and lockdowns across multiple states, especially in Karnataka and Kerala, due to the second Covid wave have hit operations at Indian Space Research Organisation (Isro).
The space agency had multiple missions planned for this year: Three earth observation satellites — one for ocean studies, one remote sensing satellite, a commercial launch, one navigation satellite, a science satellite to study the Sun (Aditya-L1), two SSLV (small satellite launch vehicle) missions and the Gaganyaan uncrewed mission.
While Aditya will not happen this year, lockdowns will impact timelines of the other missions. However, Isro, which has dedicated most of its resources to ensure the uncrewed mission takes off this year as announced in the Union budget, is still hopeful of a December launch.
Sources in Isro told TOI that even before the lockdown they were working alternative days to ensure physical distancing, but the lockdowns have resulted in a work-fromhome scenario, which enables only a small percentage of the work to be done.
“It [lockdown] certainly will have an impact. While most of the lab and floor work including systems testing are affected, we have been working remotely on design, review and other processes. Work has not stopped fully. However, industries we partner with have stopped work,” Isro chairman K Sivan said.
On whether this will delay the uncrewed mission, he said, it can only be known once the lockdown is lifted.
“It will be premature to say anything now. We are looking at launching the uncrewed mission by December this year. If industries can turn around and deliver the systems and parts we need, it will be possible. Our partners have done this in the past, but we can only review the situation later,” Sivan added.
As reported by TOI earlier, the space agency in April had decided that it may even go ahead with the uncrewed mission without the indigenous data relay satellite and some aspects of the human rating of the systems, even as it works to ensure they are ready much ahead of the launch of humans.
Even the Gaganyaan Advisory Council (GAC) that met in the last week of March had advised Isro not to delay the uncrewed mission.
The data relay satellites — Indian Data Relay Satellite System (IDRSS) — are in the 2,000kg class that will need the GSLV for their launch into GEO. As per Isro’s plans, Gaganyaan will be the first beneficiary of the IDRSS, which will be later also used for space-to-space tracking and communication of all space assets.

Is the August 12th/2021( 2 weeks + one day from now) launch of GSLV Mk 2 with GISAT-1 still very much on? This one is long awaited!

I haven't seen a crude update on it for long, that's why. And I don't think that with currently busy slots with Gaganyaan and Cdy-3, it is not likely to get a chance.

Postponed again to January in next year by uncomfirmed reports.

Please tell me what I'm reading is "wild, unsubstantiated rumours that GISAT-1 launch will be postponed to Jan 2022" :) They were pretty confident a few weeks ago, about an Aug 12th launch. But as per the above, if GISAT-2 is also being launched in Jan/2022, then two GSLV Mk2 missions in the same month would be highly impressive, and might cause people to forget the earlier delays and brash announcements!

Astrosat-2 is not yet confirmed. There are few proposals for next gen astronomy mission like CMB Bharat( Cosmic Microwave Background radiation) , INSIST (dedicated UV telescope) , Exoworlds ( Extra-solar planets observatory) etc. I think you might confused XPOSAT with Astrosat-2

@Indx TechStyle Is it possible that someone within isro trying to sabotage GISAT-1 just like they tried with GSAT-11?

Astrosat-2 is not yet confirmed. It's timeline hasn't though.
It is. Timeline hasn't.

Those are different missions, strictly proposals for now. Exoworlds from ISRO and rest from institutions.

No, I didn't. I forgot to mention it though.
