I don't think so that sig's are approved may be in future but what vivek sir is saying is that a new 7.62x51 AR is coming to the service....
so it might be other than sigs? but which one?

7.62*51 can never be an assault rifle it is a DMR, it just have too much recoil and not good for full auto firing
